Far be it for me to defend Seton Hall but sorry what is bitter about that tweet?
It's a subtle dig that we did not. They can't say "scoreboard", so they're saying "kenpom".
That would make no sense at all. We are one of their OOC games so that would mean they really suck because they lost to a team that is winless in their conf but has an easy OOC.
Not arguing with you, just saying that would be a stupid point to try and make.
I heard about 3 times yesterday “at least we’re ranked..” or “yea well who’s number 15, where are you ranked..” before the game, and after. In the arena, but on their message board also, and now this ... I mean it’s like the 10 year old that says “I know you are but what am I !?” About 20 times when they’re losing an argument .... it’s like being “ranked” is the biggest thing to ever happen to that school - oh wait, it is. Well they lost to us, on the court, nothing else matters. I don’t care who they played, who we played - us vs. them, we were better and it’s over so they have to deal with it haha
If anything, this seems like a compliment. Seems like they are proud of a tough non-conference schedule, which RU is a part of. What is bitter about this?

that's how I read it.
If you go to their rivals board most of the posters seem pissed off about the loss but grudgingly gracious about RU's improvement.

Yeah. I was reading the Pikiell thread and the Carino thread. What do you want? They're pissed. They think they choked to an inferior opponent. They're acting like any fan base would. But I see a lot of reasonable comments about how Pike has us trending up.
Some posters are respectful, but there are few who are just bitter. I mean just downright scary hateful.

One of their guys called Corey a thug I told him to go **** himself. Some sand most have gotten in their mods ***.

They have always been beyond hateful to RU , have never given us even the slightest bit of respect in anything--basketball (all right we didn't deserve resepct there), football (even when we were good), and yes academics. Which is why I never fail to point out that they are crappy school with nothing other than basketball. Which is also a joke because last couple of years aside, they have not been a good program.
