This was great today. My heart rate is still too high. After getting pounded by SHU by 29 & 32 points under Eddie and SHU running up the score on us this was sweet. One of the losses we only had 7 scholarship players dressed. Also SHU fans ripped us for playing an easy OOC schedule. Some called us a cupcake and compared us to FDU, Wagner & St. Peters. VegasPJ even said that us being compared to cupcakes was an insult to cupcakes. Many SHU fans said this would be a blowout in their favor. One guy the other day even said that SHU next year would have 3 guys better than anyone on RU. SHU graduates four starting seniors of which 3 have started four years. They are good but I like our future better than they might have. I like our incoming recruits. Sa, Doorson and Omoruyi really defended Delgado very well. Delgado only scored 7 points.He had 19 last year. This was one fun day. Justice was served as Rodriguez tried to start a fight again as he has done in many games. Delgado was crying all game but the good guys won in the end.
