SHU 75 - RU 64 (better than the 25-point blowout that ESPN's Jay Williams predicts, but not a win).

Because we're home and the RAC will be deafening I'm going to call for an upset win.

I don't think SHU's four seniors are going to be intimidated by our packed house, especially with 1,500 to 2,000 probably wearing blue. I have a sinking feeling SHU is going to run away with this game in the 2nd half because of their more diverse firepower. Do we collapse on Delgado in the paint and leave their shooters open? Or do we play tight man on the perimeter and let Delgado dominate inside?

I'm thinking along the lines of we go toe to toe with them in the first half. Then, like last year, they create distance in the second half. Something like 77-67.

I am expecting the atmosphere to be MSU times 3. You will not only have a packed house, but 1/4 SHU fans actually makes RU fans louder. The RAC will be the RAC. It has been in a long time.

That alone is NOT the reason i think we win.

I really like the way Baker and Sanders are playing together. We are looking a lot better on offense and I have a hunch we will make perimeter shots.

Just the fact that this game is a sellout is a win for all of us. Great to see the juice back in this rivalry. I have only seen SHU in bits and pieces this year so I have no prediction. But really looking forward to watching.

I have RU winning 17 games this year with this carded as a loss. So a nice opportunity to put themselves in good shape for a post season bid if they can take this one.

Thiam and Williams hit some threes, we eke it out. Thiam and Williams disappear on offense, we lose. $$$$

Agreed and hopefully Freeman, Sanders & the team are watching the Cavs play the Lakers right now and start thinking, “Wow, even when Lebron, who’s bigger & more athletic than any of us is at the rim with just one defender, will still often kick the ball out for an open 3”

unfortunately we are playing them when they have a senior ladened team..... next year, if it were at home, which it is not, maybe..... the timing of a home game is off..... I think we hang tough, trail be a 6-8 most of the way, and then by a dozen at the buzzer...

Too many offensive weapons in South Orange for a Rutgers team that struggles to score.

Never pick against RU so I'll just say a RU win would be a happy surprise.

Our offense can score if we can hit some shots. It not like a few years ago when the players stood around like statues without the ball. They move around, pass well and get open. Plus we are one of the best rebounding teams in the country and we have a stifling defense. We are at home and we are hungry.

RU wins 71- 66
