We were watching 24 for a few possessions. Although it looks terrible I don't think it was intentional.

That clip was too choppy to see what happened. During the broadcast they showed a different angle and it was a lot clearer as to why the guy was tossed. Basically looked like a quick punch in the face, and looked intentional. Maybe there will be more made of this by the media—perhaps Dunleavy will get hold of it—and we can make more informed decisions about it, but he was ejected for a reason.

He's from Bergen Phuckin Catholic... no shock there. Such a dirty school.

I went to Ridgewood High School 92-95 and when I was a Junior one of our best players was Joey Jackson (ended up walking on at Nova in the late 90s) and after our game against BC, in the handshake line, their starting point guard Rob Hoffman cold-cocked Jackson in the face. Looked just like what happened to C. last night.

Keep it classy BC. SMH.

A closed fist is not intentional? Granted it was more a quick jab then swing, but the fist was closed, which is not natural
look at him. the guy runs around with his hands clenched and elbows out like Pop pie the Sailer. He threw his right hip into the screen and the arm went out into Corey. BUT with a jab...don't know what the dude was thinking... definitely a "doink there.

If Sanders did the same thing you would want him thrown in jail...lol

Sanders is coordinated so if he punches someone in the face I'd probably think it was intentional.

This guy clearly was not. We were joking it looked like he came from the Y and he was one of those guys no one picks.

My family probably the only people on the face of the earth watching this guys every move for the 2 minutes prior.

I know it sounds crazy looking at the footage, but I am telling you it wasn't on purpose.

Now if there hasn't been a formal apology then maybe I am wrong here.

Agreed - watched tv replay today - definitely something there. Not a full-fledged swing, more of a poke. Bizarre . As Mark Peterson said, good of Corey not to retaliate and flip the foul.

You have tripled down on wrong. This was a closed fist to the face. :fistbump: You remind me of a guy I served jury duty with, he insisted the guy on trial really didn't mean to put the stolen tools in his trunk and drive away. Maybe the perp was an old family friend...

Usually if a punch is by mistake.....there is an immediate apology or "oops moment"
This kid kept right on chugging like nothing happened
and
neither he nor his team was particularly surprised OR upset when he was escorted off
Corey handled it well IMO

The ref's believed it was intentional after a looooong look, so it was intentional. If it was the Big East refs, Corey would have been called for hurting the guy's fist with his face.
