Temple upset Wisconsin 59 - 55. Wow!
I’m pissed I missed the game on TV!

Temple’s Shizz Alston has hit more than 50 consecutive free throws. Is Shizz the next Calvin Murphy? Many years ago saw Calvin Murphy, playing for Niagara, almost single-handedly dismantle a superb St. Peter’s at the Jersey City Armory. Murphy was stupendous.

We upset them huh? ROFLMAO. I guess us beating South Carolina, Clemson and Auburn were upsets too.

I enjoy posting on this board periodically, but some guys here are truly oblivious.

FWIW, Loyola Chicago beating a ranked Florida team on their home court is considered an upset.

Some folks here don’t truly understand Temple and their team right now. I have watched several games, and your team is legit right now. I would think we start seeing temple getting some top 25 votes soon! Always like temple basketball!

Oblivious is a little strong... the BBall season is young and I’ll admit I’m not that aware of the Owls this season, and I wasn’t aware of the Badgers early struggles. I was just a little surprised at the outcome and thought I’d post it for those who were unaware. I thought Temple was picked in the middle somewhere in there conference and Wisky is a tough out even on the road. Good win!

I think too many folks today place too much emphasis on the whole G5 / P5 thing. Let you in on a little secret, it’s the 4th time we’ve beaten Wisky. We’ve even beaten twice at the Kohl Center. Imagine that.

Some of the RU faithful know about our program and our players. If not for our 2 losses vs former A10 foes, we would for sure have already broken through in the top 25.

Good luck the rest of the season.

The loss to GWU was a bad one. They are not good.

I enjoy their team this year as well. They didn't play great last night though, got lucky. Even with three legit scoring scoring options you see bonehead quick shots way too much. Obi is a nice player.
Philly ball is strong this year. LaSalle has a team also.

Temple fan what is going on with Trey Lowe? I know he had the car accident. Is he playing this year? I saw him at RAC in state tourney and hoped RU could get him.

Shields,

Trey is still on a very long road to recovery. Still lacks complete mobility from his left side. He’s very lucky to be alive, but his playing days are likely over. I think he’d be a great mentor and future coach to the kids we presently have on the roster.

But you did lose those two games. Which is why you're not ranked. The math seems pretty simple to me.

Another big win for Temple

Auburn
Clemson
SMU
Wichita State

Not to mention two pt loss to Cincy and three pt loss to Houston

Some bad losses in there no doubt but can hang with anybody

Yet, I know Temple fans who, in early January, wanted Dunphy to step down after this season.
