Never understand why Sanders get so much respect - He was absolutely awful all night. To much gambling on D - turnovers and he still can't shoot.

Well a pretty close game against #3 MSU, a very close game against a likely soon to be ranked FSU and a reasonably close 34 minutes against borderline top 10 Minn. We're going to win some B1G games folks.

I’m not one for moral victories but there’s a lot of good to take away from this game. Like someone said earlier, this kind of game wins against most other Big Ten teams not named Michigan State. I’ve got to think the shots will eventually fall. Hope these guys keep grinding because it will eventually pay off.

Props to Pike and the squad. They came to play. The biggest compliment you can give is they are getting the most out of their talent. That's coaching, that's players buying in, that's a program in sync.

No moral victories, but this was a building block.

Sanders can't shoot from deep....what did he work on during the Summer?

Really not worried about Corey leaving. Really struggling lately

there were a few moments in the game when RU had the momentum and he tried to single handedly keep it going and to be nice, came up short....the big one was driving to the hoop and the got stuffed by the second guy on the play at the end of the first half. He needs to keep within the team concept. Forced a few drives to the hoop.

The really sad thing is the fact that we actually went after a few of these guys knowing they had shooting difficulties. We don't need athletic guys as much as we need scorers, especially at the guard positions. We'll probably get better as a team, but not on the offense end. We're still in the game marginally and we don't make a fg for 5 minutes. This stuff can't happen if we expect to win a tough game and so far no progress there. At 27%, we wouldn't beat teams that we should be capable of beating. If you can't score consistently than you won't win, but we will lose games we're suppose to win. Shooting practice doesn't seem to be helping.

That WIDE OPEN Mike Williams missed three when down by 2 was when it turned. (About 5 mins left) Couldn't score on several following possessions as they slowly pulled away. That miss hurt.

We shot 25% against the 3rd best team in the nation. We will win some ball games.

Sadly, the lack of shooters is the major reason for so many losing seasons and no NCAA bids. This game has been seen many times in the past where Rutgers went toe to toe with a ranked opponent only to lose because of the inability to make shots.
