CCS shooting over 50%. Good defense?

relatively speaking, I guess, lol - I also tuned in when we were down 10-2 and thought our D has been pretty good since then - certainly way better than the O.

[RickB113]

Souf brings nothing to the table.

Stop it. When he gets the ball he can pass it sometimes to our team. Keeps the ball moving which is huge for an offense.

The defense looked good when we went small and mixed in some traps. Otherwise, we look too slow.

[Abro1975]

Can't penetrate the zone, can't make the outside shots. Against a pretty bad team.

[RU-Choppin-Ohio]

Thank goodness for Mike... instant offense...Souf is struggling and then takes a wild shot...Pike must be chewing them out now at half

He was only one that made bad plays....No one else has a turnover, no one else has a bad miss. To me, it looked like there was increased ball movement when he got in the game...resulted in some open looks.

We are playing bad because of bad shooting...Sanders 4 pts, Freeman 3 points.

[1873]

What was the ref jawing bout with pikell?

[kcg88]

I honestly can't tell if this is a joke or not. But he has no jump shot, threw up a wild one when he penetrated, and his turnover led to a CCSU three. He's basically confirming our worst fears based on his JUCO stats, film, and lack of other offers.

[1873]

Spicy Latina dance troop, yeah!!!

[Rutgers25]

Geo better find his touch soon or this is going to be a long year. I like his court awareness but at some point you need to score. Also, dissspointed that Thiam looks no better than last year from outside.

Corey is Corey. Hot and cold

We miss Gettys. He was a major factor in no WTF games last year. We may drop a few this year.

Really I can catch the ball eight feet outside the top of the key and pass it the other side.

Haha my sarcasm meter may be broken

[FrankZ_RU93]

Welp

[zebnatto]

Let's get three straight stops and create some daylight.

No way! That is a unique skill.

[RC85]

Freeman struggling against a bigger front court.

Sure...What we need is a stagnant offense...I wanna see less ball movement. That's always good for an offense.

And you wonder why I can you Stupid !! You don't understand why Pikiell said that one of two biggest problems last year was the Lack of Ball Movement.

I have never, in my entire life seen someone who claims to know Basketball downplay the importance of ball movement in offensive basketball...what's next, are you going to say player movement on the court is a waste of time?

[RU848789]

Really poor showing by the students, especially compared to Friday night...up 8 now...

[RC85]

Need a 15-0, 19-2 type run here.

*ok 15-3, 19-5 works too!

[FrankZ_RU93]

They can bury 3s with ease

[Jim_from_RU]

Geo is a mess.

[Mr. Magoo1]

Freeman is forcing everything.

[bac2therac]

Woeful performance

[Mr. Magoo1]

Today is more reason why Friday served no purpose at all.

[Jim_from_RU]

I hope Pikiell kicks their asses.

[RUPete]

This has WTF game written all over it.

[FELONIOUSMONK]

If I want to hear whining I can stay home. Which I did. Give a young team some time to gel .
Please?

[FrankZ_RU93]

PSA: #1 can make 3s

[gman500]

H U G L E Y.. you ain't got no alibi, joe hugley.. joe hugley

[Mr. Magoo1]

Sanders and Mensah against a zone. Yikes

[richthedentist]

Woeful performance

Same thing different year we have absolutely no one who can shoot. Pikell telling us how their shooting percentage is improved in practice! Every team has guys that can shoot but us

[Rutgers25]

All the talk about this team being so much better was preseason nonsense. All the players are who we thought they were. It's going to be a struggle to match last year's record. Reinforcements can't get here fast enough

[AshCatchEm]

I've seen three games. Sorry for my opinion.

Is that supposed to make your point sound less idiotic?

[Jim_from_RU]

Wtf is wrong with Baker?

[kcg88]

CCSU is rated as the 340th (of 351) best team in the nation. Even if that's wrong and they're 300th, no excuse for this performance. We have three seniors, by the way, so it's not exactly a young team.

[RU MAN]

Great. We were up 8 and now our ****** shooting has allowed them to go on a 10-0 run.

[RU-Choppin-Ohio]

Sanders and Mensah against a zone. Yikes

No one but Williams is hitting 3's. Geo baker is like 0-15 on 3's

[FrankZ_RU93]

This could be the shortest BTNPlus subscription ever...

[soundcrib]

Nothing is “wrong” with him. Geo baker isn’t ready to play 25 minutes at this level. A lot of folks mis-anointed him savior like.

I didnt think he was Jeff Greer.

[RU848789]

After going up 8 we haven't scored in 5+ minutes - Freeman and Baker have been bad today. And Pikiell takes a charge, lol...

[RU MAN]

Has Sanders made even one outside jumper?
