No mentions in their preview article and Tyler not mentioned as part of All B1G. Let’s show them and shock the Conference.

another example, not with the women, but the football team..... the big 10 will replay shortened versions of the football games, calling it big 10 in 60......

we won saturday, so I wanted to tape the RU game if/when it came on in that version....Cablevision does not list which game is being shown, so what I did was to tape the first eight showings of games blindly, hoping the RU game would be one broadcast.

nope...they must have had the Maryland game, the Wisconsin/Northwestern games on three times....no RU.

Thank you for posting, I noticed this last night.

Believe me, this will fuel the team to play with a chip on their shoulder and hopefully return Rutgers Women's Basketball to wining tradition. This actually is good, it will allow the team to fly under the radar without any pressure and I believe C. Viv would prefer that.

Tyler Scaife will be a first team all Big Ten selection, she arguably is the 2nd best player is league (behind Kelsey Mitchell-Ohio State) and I believe she is going out with a bang her final season at RU.

the team was awful last year and underperformed each of the previous seasons, why should they give RU any love at this point. Prove it
That I can agree with and since Tyler was injured all of last season , pre season love ( in my opinion) would be hard to find . With all the talent B1G schools will have coming back , it's a what have you done for me lately scenario where Scaife is concerned .

So glad some reason showed up here. Preseason teams mean NOTHING. Why do people constantly whine about them? This team won six games last year, has a bunch of players who have NEVER played a game together, and we don't know how long it will take to blend. It could be remarkable, it could be a slow start and a strong finish, or it could be a chemistry disaster.

Just relax and try to enjoy whatever we get.

So the BIG ten put RU in the conference to expand their footprint into the eastern TV market. Great. So why is it they give RU practically no coverage or respect? Makes no sense to me. Like many others, I don't watch the BTN anymore. So sick of Ohio St- Michigan reruns.

BTN focuses on winning teams, the best games and the best performers. With Ray Lucas on BTN Live every Monday night, last night's show was mainly about the Ohio State - Penn State game, as well as it should be. No mention of Rutgers - Michigan other than a few minutes spent on Brandon Peters. For the upcoming week, I'm sure they'll focus on the games affecting winning the B1G, such as Penn State - Michigan State, Ohio State and Wisconsin games. That's the nature of the business.

Remember, it is the higher fees they charge because they have a team in the market that was the "gold" for the B1G. Eyeballs on the screen don't matter. And, if you consider across the board - RU does get coverage. I have been watching the games from Arizona on Big Ten network. If they weren't on BTN - do you really think ESPN would be hopping to put them on?
