Why would you run plays there? Just take a knee. So stupid.

Exactly. Either go for, which aggressive teams would do and try to score, or take a knee. Running the ball is all risk with little reward percentages.

Would love to see Lewis in the 2nd half.
Yeah, thought we were supposed to see more Lewis this game?!? Bolin playing well but I bet Lewis could have gotten us a 1st if we were hell bent on running it anyway.

I'll take it. It's still Nebraska, at Nebraska, and we're in year two of rebuilding a team that was gutted by the previous coach.

So I’d like to see some jlew in the second half. Not an indictment on bolin but it’s beneficial to give the kid some reps in this environment

This game is winnable. The team knows it can win if it stops making mental mistakes. This team's problem is that it has no playmakers.

By "a few key mistakes", do you mean hiring Vince and then retaining him after last season?
Pretty much. Honestly I was on the fence last year because I know we didn't have the talent on specials but he's lost me already this year. He needs to go or get kicked to an administrative position.

Ash will help build and improve just about every aspect of our football program, but gawd is he a bad gameday coach.

That punt return isn't why we are down.

Plays like that will happen when u r playing a more talented team.

False starts, missed snaps, dropped passes shouldn't happen. That's why we r down. Quit blaming Okruch or the coaches

Disagree. It quite literally is why we're down. It would be one thing if we didn't have the return man pinned but he was trapped along the sideline and we let him get away with some piss poor tackling.

Obviously it isn't the only reason. If Bailey made that easy catch we wouldn't have punted, but that punt return was atrocious.

How is piss poor tackling on the coaches? Tackling is the first thing u learn as a kid as a football player. You admit players were in right spots. That's coaching.

Again..that's talent..and more talented teams and players find a way to make plays.

Our interception giving us plus 1 in T/O margin was negated by allowing the punt return.

Need to win the T/O battle to have a chance in this one.

Ash is a moron. He doesn't got for it when we are at the other teams 37 when we were moving the ball.

But goes for it on our side of the 50 after just getting stuffed.

I love aggressive play but he appears to have no understanding of game flow. Guess it comes with experience.

I'm happy that ur not our HC.

I don't mind the decision to go for it on 4 and 1, but the playcalling sucked and the indecision is inexcusable.

Players unfortunately need to be flawless to win. That first drive was flawless. Need more of that.

This is a huge opp for RU to get a B1G road win.

But I believe that we need to play with a lead in the 2nd half.

If Bolin continues playing this way and the game stays within reach or we are ahead, I don't see a need to put Lewis in.

It looks like Rutgers is in position to win. This is not sarcasm.
I was hoping to see more play to win the last series with around 40 seconds left.
Guess after the 3 rd & 1 then 4th & 1 running failures made Ash play safe to end the half.
