Demoralizing loss. No doubt about it.

Game was there for the taking. Had the lead, had momentum, had them on their 2 yard line.

At least we have the first drive of the game thing down. Now for all the rest of them... :chairshot:

When your offense has done nothing since the first possession you do something to get it going again, something, anything, trick play, flea flicker, something for crying out loud. Why do our coaches never even try?
Our 1st misdirection play will be the 1st of the season. That's disturbing.

The reason we never upset anyone is because we never have coaches with the right mentality to pull off an upset. You have to take some chances, you have to try to hold on to momentum and bury your opponent, keep them off balance. Ash looks like another Schiano, plodding and methodical and a little too robotic.

Wearing us down. Key play of the game. Punt return. If he doesn't fire special teams coach...

Bailey with the ridiculous drop.
Bo showing again that he is not ready to play at level with a bad missed tackle.
Kiy with the inexcusable penalty.

There plays are within the team's control. The coaches put them in a position to win - at Nebraska. But if the players don't hold up their end of the bargain, this season is a waste of time.

Ash couldn't hold Schiano's jock.

At least Schiano wasn't averse to running some trick plays, etc.

You can't beat teams with more talent than you, which is everyone, by playing football 101 with no imagination.

That's not the recipe for bringing in fans or winning games that you aren't supposed to.

We're just tired now. Not much life.
Also, not so sure about the coaching up thing unless no one is listening.

Lmao. Comparing Ash to Schiano. Good one!

I'll take Schiano back RIGHT NOW! If Ash is half the recruiter/coach that Schiano was...

The team is making progress, unfortunately the mountain we have to climb is Everest. At this point as fans we need to settle for being entertained, we really can't expect to win at this point.

Our only shot and we don't get it. Finally they stack against the run after allowing it all the way down the field. That's priceless.

We're f-cked with CA as our coach - f-cked! All the ingredients were there for a win today but Mr 0-10 always finds a way to lose.

I'd like a logical explanation how this is on Ash? Only gripe is no Lewis..

Such an improved team...and that's on Ash.

You watch, Ash's bunch won't even cover when all is said and done

I see no reason why you should be allowed to stay here. You're the whiniest f*ck on this board.

Hey come on guys, let's not turn on each other now. The game isn't over yet. There's always a chance for a good ol' Rutgers comeback.

And even if we don't, it's not like we were guaranteed to beat Nebraska. If we're really honest we were probably looking at another 2-10 season before all this went down anyway.

The refs killed us in this game. That phantom hands to the face penalty kept Nebraskas TD drive alive. Then that horrible call for unsportsmanlike on Kiy Hester again extended their drive.
