Bolin was great on the opening drive against UW and played well yesterday. He struggled against EMU (as did the whole team) and didn't do much the rest of the game against UW.
People see what they want to see. Bolin clearly "leads" the offense even if his play isn't spectular. He's older and is more mature as a player than what we have seen at the position in years. Would we even know Washington is a weapon if we didn't have a QB like Bolin who looks for the TE? That comes with experience and knowledge of the offense. He's obviously not the answer moving forward and he makes mistakes but there's no reason to throw Lewis to the wolves now or waste our time playing Gio.
Bolin will continue to start and Lewis's time will increase over the season until he eventually takes over the job.
