Washington is ours.... just too many signs pointing to it. I wonder whose ship is gonna get shed for him to fit.

Good looks on behalf of our staff. Clearly they know were going to have an opening by pushing for an in home and probable a committment asap.

Hyatt also is a beast would be very nice get!

Sanders will probably leave after his junior year. There's a possibility one other ship opens up.

There is the option of not inviting Doorson back for a fifth year. I don't know if the coaches would do that.

Or Shaq could go the grad transfer route. Between Sanders, Doorson, a team with 12 scholarship players where the numbers show one or two are not going to get big minutes, I have little concern that Rutgers hasn't the room for one more player in the class of '18.

Not to be negative.....

1. Sanders leaves for the NBA
2. Doorson doesn't get fully healthy
3. Bullock doesn't get in to basketball shape
4. One of our 3/4 not happy about current/future PT and leaves
5. A 5th year player (Mensah or Doorson) leaves and plays immediately
6. One of our 13 wants to leave program for whatever random reason

You don't think Pike can replace anyone of those guys if this happens? Please this is the last thing I'm worried about

It's not about "whether he can replace" them... the question was where the spot would open up for Washington, assuming he's on board.

Can Rutgers accept his commitment without saying where the ship is coming from to anyone including the player?

I don't think anyone is saying it's a problem, either. FIG was just calling out the places where that schollie might come from.

As pointed, quite a lot of places. I really wonder what happens with Sanders at the end of this year. That's looking too far forward. I just hope he has a great year for himself.
