The joke is their policy still says they can be brought in... just like giveaways outside the stadium for kids then tell them they can't bring it in the stadium...right into the garbage with this stuff. Declining ticket sales and it's going to keep declining.

What I don't understand is.. why are we allowing terrorists to affect us all so much?

Whatever we come up with to stop this or that tactic.. there is always something else they could do. If they want to hit a Rutgers football game, they are going to hit it. They won't need to hide stuff in water bottles or seat cushions or daypacks or handbags or fannypacks (which might be terror on the eyes in fashionistas get your ear).

Next thing you know we are going to have to take off our shoes before entering the stadium.

I have a metal with seat back and I was able to bring it in (West Gate A) with no issue. The new app and the website states that these ARE allowed. This is a RU screw up of not communicating with staff at the entrances! Horrible job by the AD IMHO! I will continue to bring my seat in and I have a copy of the FAQ's on my phone and if anyone stops me, I will show them there rules!

I will be voicing my concern on the email survey I just received as well.

And there are attackers who are just mentally ill and have no political goal. Terrorism has to be politically motivated.

And you don't think there politically motivated domestic terrorists, okay. There are also mentally ill but the majority are politically motivated.

They would not let us in, my wife has a back problem and we had to leave at the half due to her pain. The game day app clearly says you CAN bring them in....piss poor job by Rutgers again.
They denied my 84 year old father to bring his in. I'm disgusted

Cobra -- next time if your dad had an issue, he should ask to be directed to a guest services gate where he can ask for a medical pass to bring in the seatback. (I'm assuming at his age, he has arthritis or another medical condition that necessitates some sort of back support when sitting for long periods.)
