Anyone else finding himself rooting against the Buckeyes on a weekly basis?

Anyway... tonight's game should be a good one. Although Indiana is a 20.5 underdog, and although OSU has not lost to IU since 1988, OSU has not won by 3 TDs @ Indiana since 2005. Last time they met there in Bloomington, OSU won by a FG.

Take the points. Go Hoosiers!!! Buck 'em.

No , But I won't cry if they lose.
When B1G Programs are playing I only root against Michigan and Penn St every game. OSU is a game by game decision and I want the Buckeyes or MSU to take the title until RU proves it is good enough to be in the hunt.
Don't want the Turtles to move to the top, until after RU becomes a contender.
The Hoosiers are not a contender and don't want them upsetting OSU, but will be more than glad to see Indiana take down PSU, Maryland and Michigan.

I'm with you RUinPinehurst. I was at the Indiana - Ohio State game 2 years ago in Bloomington and the Hoosiers played them tough. Sat behind an obnoxious OSU fan and my daughter and I had to move to different seats after the first half. Came down to the last play as Indiana failed to tie it up. The Rock will be rocking tonight. Hoo Hoo Hoo Hoosiers!

Looks like we caught a break by not playing Indy next week. Only 2nd Qtr, but IU looks more comfortable than OSU for now.

Indiana 14-13 at the half. They look really solid on both sides of the ball. That DT of theirs, 43 or 45, he's been in OSU's backfield so much I'm starting to think he's lining up there. Maybe they're playing out of their minds and they don't match this the rest of the season, but if this isn't a fluke, they will be a tough opponent.

I like OSU - but I'm weary of the JT Barrett fantasy. He's constantly talked about like he's the QB of the decade but he usually looks like a back-up (which he was the last time OSU won the NC).

As I see it, Rutgers is competing with the likes of Indiana and Maryland (maybe Michigan State on a backslide?) right now, so I won't cheer for success of our immediate division rivals. Plus, I don't like the way Indiana fans seem to look at Rutgers like a piece of gum on the bottom of their shoes, as if they're such great shakes (2-1 so far for RU).

I hope it gets to the point where Rutgers climbs the pecking order and doesn't have to care about IU, but for now I hope they are demoralized.

I'm sure JT Barrett is a good guy, but ESPN becomes so effusive in his praise I end up being resentful.

I like how you posted this. Before we stepped on the field for our first game.
Better? Says who? I agree with you on this..we haven't stepped on the field and we stink coming from one of our own fans?? At least let's watch a few games as we rebuild from practically scratch..

He had a stellar redshirt freshman season (when they won the NC). He wasn't the backup then, he broke his ankle in the regular season against Michigan.

Pressuring the QB into making mistakes appears to be the way for us to beat Indiana. Win the turnover battle and play a ball control offense is our key to success.

Schiano D still can't stop the spread? Shocking!

Schiano made some great half time adjustments and totally controlled IU's spread in the second half.
The game is played for 4 quarters. In the first 2 quarters the IU QB and receivers made incredible plays and were only leading by one point. A few adjustments by OSU and the IU guys coming back to the norm changed the game.

Lighten up Francis, it's called a joke.
