Thanks for chiming in. As a Card fan, you don't understand that we have a small contingent of fans who would question every move of this coaching staff. ESPECIALLY when it involves a player with ties from the previous regime getting passed over.

yes..... we have experienced the same issue with players being passed over. Will look to see how Bolin does on Saturday. Thanks

Agree..............wish we had more depth with defense and OL.

Depends. Against Ohio State, maybe not so deep - at least not yet. But against Indiana, Illinois, Mary and Purdue, both OL and DL are probably the deepest it's ever been since 2006.

This. The DL of Wilkins, Joseph, Bateky, Waife, Turay, Davis will be much improved this season IMO.

I just hope that translates to "talent" depth.

You are clueless RU #1 , Louisville fan and ex Card baller here. You got a gamer. I think there was a stat that Kyle averaged over a 100 yds passing a quarter at Louisville. Ask Kentucky what kind of QB he is when he went for almost 400 in less than 3 quarters and brought us back from 14 down.(ACC Player of the week) Had a touchdown dropped and a 30 yrd field goal missed against Clemson or he would have beat them.Guy was on everytime we needed him behind a horrendous line. A Card forever with us. Relax and let it play out.

RU2055, What they don't understand about new coaches is they want the guys they bring in playing. The recruits the last regime brought in is what got them fired. Back to Bolin the tired arm Saturday may be something else, I am waiting to hear.(Minor)

Louisville fan here. Just wanted to come by and see how Kyle Bolin is doing. He's a good QB, and he'll be a good starting QB for your team. He's a very fine student/athlete and a heck of a competitor. We wish him and your team nothing but the best! Have a great season, really miss not playing you in football. Maybe, that'll change in the future. Go Kyle and RU.

He is likely the be our starter and by all accounts has been a great teammate thus far.

What would you say are his strengths as well as weaknesses?

Believe me I want Bolin to light it up at RU ....it will be unfortunately be an uphill battle in the B1G.
He had dropped to third or fourth on the Louisville depth chart ( obviously behind Jackson and also behind Sophomore QB Jawon Pass) and hence he transferred.

If he gets the time to set up perhaps maybe his accuracy is better ( maybe the DL rush was too much yesterday as he was way off). Two games against Division bottom feeders Kentucky and Sara don't make a career......let's see how it plays out.

Kyle also had 300 yards against Georgia where he had to alternate quarters with Reggie Bonnafan. Had decent stats against Clemson two years ago and almost won that game. Everybody has a couple of clunkers. If you're not there to see the whole body of work don't be too rash in jumping to conclusions. This is a tweet from quarterback trainer Tony Racioppi.

Kyle Bolin checks all the boxes you want in your QB. Fun to watch him compete with a talented QB room. Rutgers Football is in good hands #qb
