Hoping Shaq is getting healthy, saw him in a boot a couple of weeks ago ... until we know the final schollie, Shaq stands to be a key player for us... would like to see how he plays when finally fully healthy

Shaq is about 75 percent out of his walking boot. He takes shooting drills and lifts weights (with lower body restrictions) with a cardio component.
He has not yet run full speed at a practice, but is expected to be 100 percent cleared by the start of the fall semester.
They are being VERY cautious, as this might be his last chance to stay healthy. Another premature setback could end his career.

And for what it's worth...If Shaq is healthy we still have hope in the front line. It would just mean expecting more of an impact from Myles.
Remember we still have Freeman on the roster, and Eugene can give you minutes at the 4. Lineups will be unorthodox but that doesn't scare me...

Eugene kind of reminds me of a Freeman 2.0. He was not the player in HS that Freeman was though, so I tamper expectations he can develop into what Freeman possesses nightly. What do you think?
Eugene is a bulldog...And that's his biggest asset right now.
If he can finish around the rim like D at some point...That would be a step in the right direction

He may have announced plans to visit Kentucky and Duke, but clearly his Rutgers visit is being kept under wraps.
I kind of thought you were..but wasn't sure. Plus I didn't see an offer from us. I don't follow MBB recruiting that close and didn't even realize he was the #1.
Yeah, and he's supposedly reclassifying from 2018 to 2017, thus why he's still available and about to commit somewhere soon. Just won't be Rutgers. It is a mystery to me who we may be adding if it is not a grad transfer or JuCo.
