Well, Bama, BC, Clemson, FL, ILL, Indy, LSU, Miami, Mich, Mich St, NC, NC St, OSU, Pitt, Syarcuse, Temple, Vandy, Va Tech, Wisky, and "Rutgers" all really like him at No Pad Camps."

You should be a coach since you know better! NFM.....

Yes...because kids with a laundry list of offers always pan out. I am not the only one who thinks this about the kid. He has been getting personal training, plays at elite HS programs that are like mini college programs....you would think he would be a lot more polished and a lot more productive in games like other elite D1 kids at those schools...but he isn't. He is a boom/bust prospect, just like Hansard...if Hansard qualifies. Bolds was a reach IMO and I can't believe we wanted him at the end last year.

Hey, PSU fans on this thread, how's the Justin Fields commit working out? It must be great to have the #1 dual-threat QB in the nation committed. Oops!!!

Why?
If you were offered to play for the 2016 B1G Champion or were on the cusp of such an offer, you would choose your home state school that went 2-10 and got blown out 4 times last year?

Maybe competing teams should have flown banner planes around their camp "We are . . . convicted!!!"
That's actually a really good idea.

It's nice to have 9 highly ranked top 250 ranked recruits on all services.

Most of us didn't expect Fields to stick. That would have been actually incredible. He is still going to visit here again and his dad seems to think that he still wants to end up at PSU.

Not expecting that though.

With 8 messages on this board, it is very likely that you not only don't hate "State Penn", but are in fact a pedophile supporter. BTW, hi RU31trap, how ya doing?!?, your gig is up, LOL!!!

The Pedophiles have seen their two 5 star players both decommit, sorry, there is no spin that anyone can put on that that is positive.

Hey Spanky, another spill to clean up here in Aisle 5.

Yeah I know what your saying. Rumor has it that Franklin was overheard crying in his office over the fields decomit. Do you ever stand in front of the mirror and ask yourself why aren't all these NJ parents up in arms over the Sandusky scandal?? Legendary Head Coach Joe Paterno built a fence around NJ, now Franklin is reinforcing that fence with cinderblocks.

Good thing for people in general and athletes don't have your one track mindset even from New Jersey.

You hate Penn State and that is fine but lumping everyone into a pile and going tunnel vision makes me think you might not be the best person to help people with special needs.

Actually, there haven't been that many. In the outstanding NJ class of 2015, PSU only got Will Fries, and last year the only recruit PSU got that we really wanted was Hansard. This year they have 2 commits, but since "commit" doesn't mean much to recruits any more, only being committed on NSD matters.

You do know that "Legendary HC Joe Paterno" went to his grave a pariah?

Rumor has it that you were jerking off into Franklin's mouth when the Fields news went down. Why the hell haven't you changed your handle yet? The only threads you ever post on here you are either sticking up for pedophile enablers or knocking RU? At least posters like PSUriseANDfire have the balls to post using handles that reflect their true affiliation.

This Rutgers vs Penn State rivalry has so much potential. Penn State doesn't want to admit it but it really has more potential than Maryland. I wished that Lion fans embraced it instead of looking down on the knights. I mean you should since you have to play them every year for like forever now. This national **** that you guys are gaga about is foolish especially when you line up with the real natty boys and we ruin your "prodigy" freshman QB's career like that. On the other hand, RU gotta stop acting like State ain't top dog in the "Region" because they are.

Penn State doesnt need to recruit heavily in NJ to be successful, they pick and choose who they want to take. The school may concentrate more in MD one year, and perhaps NJ another year. Just depends where the "elite" talent resides. It had a Top 15 class last year without the need to sign many NJ kids.

Rutgers has to start winning before any rivalry will develop.
The animosity both fan bases feel for each other ( though most Nit's won't admit their animosity ) would make it one of the top rivalries in nation .
But for any rivalry to start , competitive games and not just one program winning is the only way it will happen.
I have very little respect for the Nit football program, but until Rutgers starts beating them I can understand the Nits saying Rutgers isn't our rivaL
Once Rutgers starts winning and the series becomes competitive, a great rivalry will ensue because of the animosity both fan-bases feel towards the other
Once a rivalry develops this will be my advise to both fanbases when talking about the upcoming RU-PSU game.

As for who commits or decommits from the Nits, I'll let others worry about it and just check out the conversation in threads started about Penn St recruiting.

This is my entire feeling on the subject. We had a golden opportunity when the Sandusky scandal occurred. It was at that point in time to attack PSU and make inroads on the recruiting front not just in NJ but the entire Northeast corridor. BUT NO!!! The Institution had their heads up their *** by focusing on raiding a medical school and in return cheaping out on anything sports. This is fact!!

You see, from 2011to 2014 Rutgers truly could have inflicted serious damage on PSU. But no, instead the Institution decided to cheap out, hence, the hiring of Coach Flood. Can anyone imagine what could have been with a Petrino, Fleck or Mangino?? Let's see how many posters are willing to step forward and admit that the Institution dropped the "proverbial ball" and allowed PSU to outmaneuver us from a recruiting standpoint. Unlike some of the Kool-Aid drinkers here I could see PSU slowly reloading with talent and once the NCAA pulled back each violation they recruited a top 15 class in 2016. Now for all intensive purposes PSU is not only back they are focusing on a National Championship while we're wondering what the hell is happening to this years recruiting class.

I agree that PSU-RU has potential for a great rivalry. But the fact remains to date RU's high-water mark as a program (2004-2012?) was just on par with a below average PSU run over the same time frame. We're barely recruiting the same kids right now, so it not even like we can start a recruiting rivalry. Until RU gets competitive how can we not look down on them, not their fans, but as a FBS B1G East football team? That's why at this moment UMD is closer to being a rival, because they've shown a glimmer of being competitive.

Why does it matter!! Pull you head out of your *** and read the post, it's accurate and true!! The fact that PSU is a football first University and the Institution wants to win a NC is not necessarily a bad thing. Let me save you years of frustration, that mindset is never happening here at RU. Our National Championship will be an 8-4 season and a decent bowl game which will only happen once every 15 years give it take 3 years. From what I've read most of your BFF's are perfectly ok with those results.

It's considered on of the most beautiful campuses in the country for a reason.

Madison is probably the only I ever seen that might top our main campus.
Let's no get carried way. I have been to Penn state, and Penn State is no Madison, no Ann Arbor, no Palo Alto, no Ithaca,, no Princeton, no University of Chicago. It is a nice school in one of the most backward parts of the country. If you like Alabama, you will love central Pennsylvania.

Take it for what it's worth but I heard from a family who has a son playing at NJ Catholics that the kids want PSU offers and aren't really looking at RU now. I get that things can change but we've got a long way to go to get this turned around.
I mean one program went to the Rose Bowl and one program was the worst program in Power Five Conference football last year.

We have to give them reason to respect us, and sadly, we haven't been able to do that. Even Pitt and Temple beat them in recent Years. There ñs no doubt that PSU is top dog in the northeast, but we have to change that.

Just want to point out what an evil person you are. Once again, you only see the whole pedophile cover up scandal at Pedd State through the prism of what it means for recruiting, never giving one thought to the victims.

Whenever you use a "We" in a post, it should always be followed by an "Are."
