Yanks will continue to win this weekend and also continue to draw sellout crowds.

Best ball club in the area by far.
Which area? The Bronx? I will give you that, although I am sure some of the local high school teams would give them a run for The Steinbrenner's money

Yanks squeaked one out last night with the long ball and some luck. Too many warning track hits for the Cards, but at least it's another win.

Didn't you know only Yankees fans and the one marlin fan can talk trash about everyone? Then get upset when people throws their trash back to their faces?

When Yankees fans are banned in the Flushings thread....
3-2 Marlins

Back to the only team that matters in NY & NJ, the Yanks are piping hot!
I feel another sweep this weekend and I got tickets for the Sunday night game.

You'll never understand that no one wants to hear craps that we already know. Of course you don't give a damm so whatever.

Good to see the Yanks on a winning streak. I really am. Theyre playing good ball right now. But of course you'll probably think that thats blasphemous to say thanks and say something that only douches will say.

Watch out, the WS favorites and non-contenders have the same record now (loss column). HA!

Anyway... I keep hearing about this $15 ticket at Yankee games. Is this all season or only certain games? And it's probably a SRO ticket but is this upper deck only or any level? Might check out a couple of games this year.

Good nature back and forth "who is better and who is crap" is always good and good for sports. It is the droning on and on for the sole purpose to derail conversation or troll that gets annoying and bans...It is no different at tailgates. I love when visiting fans of the other team join our tailgate and over beers and food we bust each others balls and leave as new friends only to try to find the other when we visit their stadium(OK, well, except PSU).

Anyway- I love a sport season when we have two local teams doing well. And to be honest, if my team is having a rough season, I prefer if the other local team is doing well.

Right now, this is a fun start to the season! Hope both teams stay healthy.

Shouldn't you be back in your safe space in the mets booster thread ?
And it's "no one wants to hear the truth about the mets schedule" not "no one wants to hear crap that we already know." Be honest.

Kind of you don't want to hear how annoying you are. Im surprised you didn't go on the J. Giels, the Charlie Murphy, or the new Rutgers thread to complain of Mets fans being mean and nasty because they don't want to hear your nonsense.

Great that both NY teams are surging right now, with the Yanks on a five game win streak and the Mets' five game win streak snapped last night. May both seasons continue on this pace with both teams making the playoffs.
Note that I started this thread for the Yankees fans and it has worked out mostly well and has been positive. Still don't understand the "small fan's" complex of some Yankee fans who always feel the need to backhand slap the Mets even when they are doing well with stupid, petty comparisons about attendance in April when the weather is crappy and other nonsensical crap. And some of these same fans get completely unhinged when results of a poll are posted that was widely reported in NY media--was not my poll--was just a poll, but some of you guys treated it like some sort of unholy insult. It's good for NY sports in general when both teams are winning and makes the Subway series that much better.

And there you go, the epitome of "small fan's syndrome." Congratulations.
I like it when both teams are in first place and NYC and the surrounding areas are buzzing with excitement about both teams. But whatever gets you through, and works for you, enjoy!

Interesting that you are chiding the Yankee fans for being "small" in a Yankee fan thread that you created....but omit the Mets fans in this thread who are acting "small" to come in the thread with the sole purpose to denigrate or cause trouble.

KS- in the same mold that your post is trying to say the same thing mine did, I do have to say that in this case, you didn't have to put the "small fan syndrome" as it came off as all Yankee fans. To me, I see SFS coming out from a couple of yankee fans and a couple of Met's fans but in the most part, there have been some good discussion going one between fans of both.

You know, if you read the thread, the large majority of both fans are having an intelligent discussion. It's the few nutjobs on both sides that bring this (and the Mets thread) down. Shame. Is that OK with you?

I'm just glad we're actually winning games with Sanchez down. When he got hurt, some of the articles made it seem like we should have just folded the franchise, lol.

Im glad to see the starters pitching great. All around the pitching has been awesome during this 6 game win streak. The Yankees have the 5th best team ERA in the majors from the start of the season.
Downside is Bird, awful.

I'm going to hedge that Bird will come around.

They still don't get why they were banned, lol. That's OK,the Mets board is much more enjoyable, but as the season progresses,I will miss some of their insane takes on things.

Oh, I completely understand why that mets thread was closed to Yankees fans. I've run into the same attitude on the Temple board and the Pedd St. board.
If you don't root, root, root for the home team.....you're blocked.
Vey, very small IMO.

I agree. I think Bird will come around. He looks horrible right now though. His discipline that plate is currently....brutal.

Agree. It a shame that they only schedule the Yankees to play first place teams.

Come on. You guys can't admit that the schedule was a benefit to the mets last season....and may well be again this season ?
Three of the teams in the NL East were awful last year and the mets were fortunate to play virtually 1/3rd of their games vs. this bunch.
The Yankees on the other hand had only one crappy team in their division....Tampa Bay. You guys would have experienced a tougher time with Boston, Toronto, and Baltimore for sure. So excuse me if I'm not impressed by the fact that the mets won 3 games more than the Yanks last season and qualified for the playoffs....where they're still looking to score a run.
And to not play one team that had a winning record last year in their first sixteen games this year...while they're trying to get their chit together...is a nice break for the mets.
Everyone knows that they don't make their own schedule. But you guys can't admit that it's a nice advantage for the Amazins ?

The Mets "Board" is an OT Thread on the Rutgers football "Board". The fact that posters have been banned and there is now some type of exclusivity on an RU board to an OT Thread about a NY Baseball team is pretty silly especially when there is an ignore feature.

Like I said its a crime the Yankees only play first place teams.
