Richardson is wide open right now but I know that he has been really impressed with how Georgia Tech has improved under Josh Pastner. Also, one of Richardson's teammates signed with Auburn and has been in his ear about joining him there.

Rutgers picked a good time to offer Richardson because I expect him to add between six and ten offers after the two live periods in April. I don't know of any ties Richardson has to Rutgers or any schools out of the Southeast, so he may be a tough pull to get out of the SEC & southern ACC footprint.

I watched Richardson 2x today at the annual Florida Travel Team Jamboree & spoke with him afterwards. I asked him what schools were heavy is in the mix and he did not mention Rutgers. So I brought up Rutgers and he said that they recently offered and the coaches talk to his dad and they talked to him a little bit.
