Saw the game today, needs some weight.
Jones with his height is a good defender and rebounder for a guard. On offense he is effective driving to the basket and making foul shots.I saw little evidence in this game against Shawnee of out side shooting accuracy.

I think he only took one outside shot today. He did make two left handed shots driving to the left of the basket today. He was 3-3 on foul shots in the game. He also had 6 rebounds and I think 1 or 2 steals. His defense was also very good in the game. He just played within the team concept and got the win over a 28-2 Shawnee team by a 57-41 score.

Was a good game and tied at half. Sat next to a nice former Linden player who played at VCU. Don Franco i believe he said his name was.

I really like Jones. Plays extremely hard. Here are the issues. He is not a point guard. He is a somewhat undersized two guard. As a two guard he is not a very good shooter. Think of him as similar to Mike Williams. Might be a slightly better ball handler.

Every team could use Jones. The problem for RU is that we must have other recruits who are simply better players. If you have that and also add Jones he is an excellent complimentary player. Our problem is that we have too many guys whose ceiling is as a complimentary player.

He's much more crafty than Williams and can create his own shot too. I think he'd be a great get but I doubt he'll end up here. If you want a defensive/slashing guard he's your guy
