Loved Nigel's post game interview talking about winning out to get to the tourney! Just illustrates what this team is made of and what Pikiell is building here - I bet they're the only people on the planet who actually believe they could pull it off - and I won't say they can't until they don't. Gonna be a fun game against NW tomorrow and we know we should've beaten them last time out. Better not see a 10 minute interview with Mike from Mike & Mike during this one.

in a tourney time anything can happen. Northwestern will be tough though. They do alot of things well. RU will have to put forth a much better effort on the offensive end. OSU seemed somewhat fragile in this game, Northwestern is going to be a much tougher challenge than OSU

The one thing is if RU plays its signature RU game it will be in this game and all you want is to have a chance in the last 5 minutes

EVERYONE seemed way more confident tonight
the bench.....Doorson, Omoruyi, Laurent, Sa all seemed to be in the same attack mode as the starters
esp NIGEL with 21 pts !!!!!!

Northwestern here we come!!!!!!

Sanders plays possibly his worst game (offensively - he still played well on defense, as did the whole team) and we still win, because of the play of all these other guys - love seeing everyone step up. Nigel was truly amazing tonight and Freeman also had a great game.

I teased a NW buddy about possibly being on the bubble if they lost to Purdue then us. He didn't take it well and assured me their Michigan win punched their ticket. Probably so but some sweat may bead on their brow if they lose. I think they are still in (barring lots of championship week upsets) but would take a hit on their seed. Right now they are predicted for around a 9 seed but could drop a couple with a loss tomorrow.

have there been any updates on the Michigan team's flight? They were stuck in Detroit last night because of weather and were scheduled to fly this am. They have the noon game. On the radio it was mentioned the B10 may look to change the game times if Michigan arrives too late. The article below mentions alternate travel plans so that may be a bus that is like 500 miles and 8-9 hours.

well the game is in a half hour so I am assuming it is on, pretty shocked that the Big 10 and Delaney did not step in here and switch the game time with the PSU game

Kind of a letdown - at least we won 2 straight B1G games, including one in the tourney...

We have nothing to lose and that makes us extremely dangerous!

It turns out we did have something to lose.
I've already had several calls about the awful performance, the 31-0 run, and RU quitting at the end. There will be more tomorrow.
We still have a long way to go.
