RUMLAX REMINDER

[Caliknight]

Game against Brown starts at 2:30. Free entry with ticket stub from the hoops game.

Game of the year potential. The game will be played at break neck speed.

My cousin just committed to playing lax at Maryland.

My aunt and Uncle said they were very happy with the Rutgers campus, and liked the game at High Point.

One day Ill get to a lax game. Probably in the next two years when they play Maryland.

It is going to be cold tomorrow, with temperatures around freezing. Will be rough to sit out there for the full game (especially coming from a BB game, which means no thermals, etc).

[bac2therac]

good luck getting people to sit out and watch lax with temps in the low 30s and windchills in the teens

Now if they were coming from a hockey game instead....

Toughen up buttercup! That type of weather should theoretically hurt them more than us.

I am a melting snowflake, you will not see me there

Based on what I saw in televised games attendance at Lax games looks sparse even in good weather.

Why would the cold hurt them more?

Why would the cold hurt them more?

We play fast. They may play even faster. As such, more passing and shooting is required. In cold, windy weather, that isn't as easy. Think of it like a team that runs a no huddle offense in football and passes every down. Just tougher to do in weather. Not that it can't be done, but defense is the backbone of our team right now and weather favors that.

Really wish I could get to this game.

[Caliknight]

Has the makings of an epic game that's for sure.

[Upstream]

Went to the game, but only made it one half due to the wind. (If I dressed warm enough for the Lax game, I would have wilted at the BB game.)

I'm sorry I missed seeing the second half in person. It is a great game.

[Caliknight]

They squad played much better in the second half. Great win for the program.
