Rutgers in league games has performed far better on the road than at home.Minnesota is a bad matchup because they have scorers that put them over 70 points on a regular basis.

The gap toward a 16-15 winning regular season is cut down by a game and the momentum toward a 10 seed in the 2018 NCAA tournament begins...

Minnesota is 3rd in the country blocking 16.2% of opponent FGs. Murphy, Lynch and Curry getting most of them.

they are also 13th in defensive efficiency. I think that can play in to our hands as i can see the effort being down playing at NOON, with a decent size trip, and after 2OT war against Iowa.

I think asking Sanders to win the game off the dribble is the wrong way to go. Not sure Freeman can do well except off of the offensive glass.

I think we win the game because Agent 0 has a big game. I looked at the KSU-Iowa State box score from 2/28/2015. It can happen.

Rutgers 61
Minnesota 48

0 and or Corey do a great job on Mason. Fans taunt LR and he ultimately gets a technical. Issa and Mike combine for 5, let's make it 6! (ha ha) 3s.

Minnesota also was embarrassed at the RAC last year. They will certainly be motivated because they are playing for a NCAA bid as well...its how they handle that pressure. I am not convinced that Pitino can push the right buttons, they had a 5 game stretch where they looked awful including a big egg vs Penn State

I don't think that will be an issue. Only Jordan murphy and their backup center were involved in that game. the team was depleted and most of thos guys were wa;lkons.

I see this as a close game. Both teams lost at OSU by 6 points. Minny is the better team but we're at home.

With 10 to play RU up 9. Win or lose will depend on if RU can hit greater than 65% from the line. They still have to prove it. Minn wins it by 4. Go Team Pork Roll.

Watching Minny the other night and they appear to be really big and have good D in the paint. If we can't score outside this is a tough win to get

I think we can win this game. Rutgers in an exciting finish.
---
I always have hopes winning at home, hopefully with that home court advantage

You would have to think that IF we could take Wisconsin into OT, on the road, after leading much of the game, and giving Ohio state a scare, on the road, we should be able to
play with todays opponent, if we don't relax at all.

Hell, I will guess a 5 point win.... due for a decent finish at the line for once.

Terrible matchup for RU.

They are athletic up front....we will need heavy minutes from Eugene and Freeman along with Sa and Doorson to offset this....have a feeling Gettys will be in foul trouble....

We'll know in the first 5-6 minutes how this game is going to go....get there early and on time....a good start for RU is a necessity.

My mind says always follow the trend of going against the team that just played OT and is traveling for their next game.....RU pulls out one late....Sanders and Mason go head to head for a couple of possessions, which will be entertaining....

RU 71 Gophers 68....

well, I was wrong, but might have been correct if we cleaned up the free throws.
