No, this is what you can expect from me searching the internet for "Rutgers Football Concepts". And there are more on the first page.
I am familiar with those and again say they are all bad. No matter who makes them.
Scarlet instead of blue
PERFECT. Rutgers helmets are perfect, I have no clue why Flood changed them.
That with the helmet from my avatar and matching early USA flag blue would be cool for a anniversary game... play on the revolutionary roots.
Addidas just needs to keep it simple. Look into our past and get some inspiration from old uniforms. We are the birthplace of college football and we should look like we are.

Double stripe that ends in sword point on back looks nice and should be on our helmets again.
Because if you're not a blueblood program, you're probably going to want to tweak things, at least until you can get some kind of recruiting traction. You have to assume If it were up to coaches, uniforms would all be minimalist.

This is a very nice uni. Not as good at the 2006 uni's, but I would welcome this.

Can they just do this with our current helmet. Nice and Simple. Make us look like a B1G team. I like our current uniforms but I hate the gimmick stuff.

We need helmet stripes. Also, I hope Adidas doesn't use the same textured pattern that's on all of its unis.
I like these UGA concepts but with the same leg striping as the sleeves, like UL unis above:
I'm in the minority but I'd bring back the silver helmets & mix in the white & red helmets. I also wouldn't mind silver pants, like KST, Raiders.

My vote:
Replace the white collar and put the block R instead of Rutgers and we are in business.

This should be the general concept. More striping and less gumby solids. And BLOCK number font.
All of the others are really bad.
The Miami ones floating around here which are made by Addidas (with our color scheme) look pretty good....updated, right numbering and IMO don't look too bland.

Last year's were pretty boring. We were so psyched we could read the numbers that we overlooked the blahness.
And then for the blackout games, black jerseys and pants, with scarlet lettering. Helmets matte black with scarlet R
1. Make everything black red.
2. Make everything red black.
3. Switch the NFL thing on the yoke to a Block R.
And you might have something there.

If Adidas is putting us in their tier 1 level and we're a priority then we really can't be any happier. Nike treated us like the fat girl in school. I honestly wasn't impressed with the unis that Nike gave us last year. If Adidas gives us uniforms the quality of the Miami, which I'm optimistic that they will then this is an awesome move.
I'm not a Photoshop guy but if you switch out a few of the colors you could see what we could possibly end up with...

[eyeroll] Obviously I was exaggerating about the "R" not being there..
Oh and one problem. We are not Miami. We are Rutgers. As far as Adidas is concerned we are their fashion gineau pigs. We are not a blue blood with a timeless brand that needs to be preserved. We are school with a broke athletic program that ran to them because UA didnt want us and Nike didnt value us enough and we had no other choice. thats how they see us. We are in the NY area so they could get tons of eyeballs and feedback on all their fashion experiments.
