I am definitely not a Gaga fan and only ever heard of a couple of those songs. Still, that show was just awesome!
And kudos to her for not making it political.
Except for the lip synch, she did good. A country singer would never lip synch. Sad that a great singer did that.
Part of it sounded live . Oh well. Not my type of music or performer. But it was good. Well done lady Gaga
Glad she didn't do any political crap. And she lip sync'd some, but also sang some as well. That's not easy production.

While not overtly political, opening with God Bless America, morphing into This Land Is Your Land, was a political statement.

It's almost impossible not to lip sync. To set up acoustics properly you need more than 6 minutes.
I was shocked she sang for real at all.
I'm not a musical expert but when you're gyrating around, running all over and hanging in the air is it possible to even sound as good singing as you might as if you were just standing still or moving at a more comfortable pace. I kind of wonder if you have no choice but to lip synch when you take all the acrobatics/movement into account.

True, but not over the top. A passing statement telling how you feel, to me, is fine. I have a problem when ones politics become bigger than the show.

A true artist would not lip synch. Let the dancers do their thing. She is real talented. Such a waste.

A "country singer" also wouldn't come down from the rafters of a stadium on wires, do a couple of flips, and dance all over the stage. But, I guess the cowboy hat would look good.
Not a GaGa fan, by any means, but you have to give her credit. Besides the piano solo was not lipsinc.
I don't recall Springsteen lip synching. Not saying he's the best singer but if the super bowl requires great singers to lip synch, they should just pass on it.
Super Bowl plays around the world. I think NFL wants a visual "spectacle". Katy Perry on a lion. Beyonce shaking her can like a maniac. People cant all understand English but they can watch all the sizzle. Its like Olympic ceremonies now. For me Prince was the last good show - an actual musician playing Purple Rain in the rain.
I do give her credit. The show was good. I giver her credit for the jump from the rafters. Not many would do that. New Yorkers bring the talent. I would have just preferred to hear her sing more. The lip synch was off at times.
it was ok but didnt snap my bean. She did her job but not sure she is right for this venue. The political stuff she threw in there was not all that offensive so right there I will give her a thumbs up for that

This crap is laughable. Likely you have a worse physique and zero talent. Easy to hate.
