surprised I haven't seen anything on here (and your premium board) regarding this PSU commit, but apparently he's flipping to you guys. think his dad is a Rutgers alum.

again, no news over here, so if I'm wrong, I apologize. but lot of smoke on our end the last 2 days that he's gone. if so...nice pick up.

figured I'd share

edit: looks like more fire than smoke

Wish Justin Shorter would flip too haha, but maybe he just wants to get away from his own backyard for a few years.

not out of the question but something very specific would make it more of a possibility

I get that you can't avoid guys in your backyard going elsewhere, but, to have a talented kid at WR, from South Brunswick, commit elsewhere EARLY, at a position of NEED, and to PSU, REALLY hurts.

But like I said you can't win them all. It's just disappointing.

Hopefully yesrutgers01 and the the first domino of his inference drops and Rutgers benefits from it.

Composite 4-star on 247, rated the #25 OT in the country, #11 PA prospect. Was at IMG, but transferred back home. Uncle apparently is a legacy at RU, and word is Bleich is intrigued by the chance of early PT at Rutgers. He's been very active with RU stuff on Twitter of late. Regional offer list outside of a random one from Mississippi State. Some seem to think his body is progressing toward being more of an inside guy than a tackle (believe he might have lost some weight over the last year), and are speculating that - and/or the fact that PSU is so hot right now - is causing the staff to cool a bit.

I usually try not to get excited about these things but he's got a pinned tweet from Rutgers on his twitter account. Very unusual for someone staying committed to another school.

This would be, well, SWEET!

Yea, the timing is a little odd in the sense that PSU is absolutely killing the 2018 cycle right now (indications are 2-3 more kids, including 5-star RB Slade could be jumping on board here shortly). So either the kid really sees something he likes at RU - playing time, legacy connection, etc. - or there's some truth to the staff recruiting him a little more lightly than maybe he'd like at this point. Or a combination.

The word is PSU is NOT pushing Bleich out. Is the staff showing him less love than maybe it used to? I don't know. That's speculation. Regardless, I wish Bleich well wherever he decides to go to school; PSU will be fine...

5* RB Ricky Slade and 3* LB Jesse Luketa (who received offers from Stanford and LSU this week) committed moments ago to bring the 2018 class to 10 total. It's currently ranked #1 nationally and would have been ranked 32nd for the 2017 cycle. With 10 kids!

Yeah, we don't care. Go back to your board.
