I saw P.J. Fleck on BTN talking about the credo he is establishing at Minnesota: "F.A.M.I.L.Y" (Forget About Me I Love You). I'm so glad Ash abandoned that at RU when he arrived. I cringed when I saw it on the backs of RU players a few years go.
Put them together?

Turns out #TheHunt (#ThePunt) #CHOP FAMILY, whatever it is are all just lame gimmicks when you don't win. Win and nobody caresI personally like it better than the Hunt. Not really a team sport concept for players to get behind.
We have 5 players in the Superbowl who went through that team-first approach. The family thing did nothing for me; just seems corny.

Good god, I think they just did that in a lame attempt to mask just how bad our special teams were.Let's hope Ash drops the goofy OSU stuff like the helmet stripes and swing arms on the kick-offs and comes up with some original ideas.

I didn't say they shouldn't do it if it works for them. Just did nothing for me which shouldn't be high on their priority list.We have 5 players in the Superbowl who went through that team-first approach.
I, too, thought it was corny when I was told what it meant. But we didn't have players going robbing dealers when the guy who established that motto was here.
Yeah... it was pretty terrible (douche chill inducing actually). He can use it and keep it. No charge.
