This is why we need to slow down the timeline a little. We clearly need more than one or two recruiting classes to improve the roster.
There are 2 reasons you miss flights from Florida to NJ: getting laid or hungover.
We are totally lost. This isn't playing the number 14 team. It's on us. Turning the ball over for no reason at all. More turn overs than points.
The lack of time playing together against high-level competition is showing now. We are playing perhaps the best team in the conference on the road and it is gonna be rough in those environments.
I think it might take a game or two, against B1G competition, for us to take what we've seen, so far, up a notch. Whole different world out there tonight.
If we ever settle down when we get easy shots under the rim it will change every ballgame we are in. We had three easy layups that we missed, and a missed pass from a baseline inbound to a wide open Laurent under the rim.

this cannot be said enough times. Some of our fans way too enthusiastic. Pikiell is not a miracle worker. He still has limited talent to work with. Listen, Illinois was doing well this year OOC and they were crushed by Maryland tonight. These games will happen against top schools in league. As fans though I do not think we should get discourage either. Some games RU will compete in this year, some they will not

Nigel Hayes is one of the best players in the country. He's a matchup nightmare. We look worse than we are because he's a dominating player.
