All State teams were announced today. We have multiple first team All State players committed here. We also have several First Team All State players who will probably commit here. Taylor going to Wisconsin hurts but we still have a good class so far. It's not over yet but we are doing a phenomenal job recruiting.

Barnwell hasn't committed yet. Grab him and your RB situation improves dramatically.

who else from this list can we expect to commit?

This is what we always talk about. Keeping these kids at home - starts often with the First Team All State players.

Being all-state is a heck of an accomplishment but I'm amazed at the number of all-state kids from PA and OH who don't even end up in a P5 conference. Heck, my buddy was all-state in OH but played D3.

I was just about to say that. Half of those kids I've never seen their names before.

Plus there is an element of politics in the picks.

Team who had great years have kids rewarded--the twin DBs from Wayne Hills.

Teams with "too many kids" have kids get left off.

There is no way that Shayne Simon, as one example, is not one of the 33 best defensive players in NJ.

Agreed regarding ALL-STATE. May not translate to D1. Many factors at issue including size, speed, position grouping, and level of competition.

He's definitely a D-1 player. Maybe not a RB but he can play. He can put weight on.

Not to me. What position does he play in college? I don't see RB. He's not a DB and he's certainly not a LB being 5-10.

All-State does not equal worthy of FBS scholarship.

We'll he has multiple P5 offers including RU, so people who do it for a living disagree with you .

This.

As someone who has sat in on these types of meetings, I can assure you that everyone has a different agenda. And coaches are big on rewarding seniors, while being less quick to reward a kid who might have a bad reputation, whether on or off the field.
