He is slight. But lots of intangibles. And he can shoot. A winner. Defending in man-to-man would be extremely tough in the Big Ten.

I am watching the game right now and "slight" is being generous. IMHO he would have a tough time with a steady diet of B1G guards.

George Mason is spanking PSU in the second half. Marquise Moore from NYC is a player 25 points and 13 rebounds so far. Before the game 6' 2" guard averaging a double-double 17.3 and 10 respectively.

Otis Livingston against TTFP - 18 points, 3 assists, 0 turnovers, 2 steals, 3 rebounds in 34 minutes. Not bad for a "slight" guy.

One thing I can say watching 2016-17 RU....length matters

Length and long arms in BB will always matter when defending the passing lanes, altering shots and getting off shots in the paint. Two things Rutgers has lacked for a while...oh, plus shooters.

Louisville and Pitino does it with length and long arm guys.....plus speed

Syracuse and their zone does with length in their 2 and 3 zone.

If you watched the game PSU was absolutely terrible defensively. As I said a steady diet of B1G competition IMHO Livingston would get worn down. I give him credit he played a good game but I would take Marquise Moore.

Someone who posts often on this board was on the RT recently saying that TTFP men's hoops would spank RU.

And let me guess. TTFP gets better defensively before they play us. Livingston played a terrific game. And yes he remains under-sized. It will be interesting to see the stat lines of our guards when we play at TTFP.

Also watched the game. Watched Penn State this year against Colgate, Cincy.

Penn State looks athletic and certainly deeper compared to past years, however, their play has been very inconsistent. They're in a pattern of getting off to slow starts.

Last night their defense was terrible. The guards getting beat off the dribble drive the entire 1st half. In the second half GM dominated near the rim. Penn State was the taller team, however, lost the boards battle and had no defensive answers in the paint. Not to mention, they shot 36%
