Is there a team in the nation that has consistently gotten dunked on more than us for, let's say, the last decade now?

Not going to beat Miami in half court game they have to play uptempo transition game. RU does not have a finisher out there

The talent disparity between Rutgers and Big East foes was readily apparent. As a member of the B1G its just more of the same poor offensive performances.2018 can't come early enough to bring in some scorers. In the interim a lot of fan disappointment even with better coaching.

Our defensive effort shows the difference coaching can make. These kids play hard and hustle.

Nothing coaching can do about shooting woes, really.

Corey looks like he spent the offseason rapping instead of working on his game.

Not necessary and not good treatment of our guy. He's trying hard, and on an undermanned team.

My buddy and I have been saying since maybe 8 minutes left in the first half to take him out and sit him for 12-15 minutes of game time. Nothing wrong with it not being your night. He's giving nothing on offense and less on defense. I though coach would go more Canadian Freshman Sa and Doorson in second half.

I'm cool with sitting a guy, but bringing in talk of point-shaving, even if joking, we should stay away from.

This game is almost exactly what I expected but I was hoping we were a little better than this. Still encouraged, however.

Sorry, but nothing about this game "encourages" me. It looks like "same old, same old" to me. No offense, and out-athleted by the opponent. Heck, even our supposed strength -- rebounding -- failed miserably tonight, as we're getting killed on the boards.

We crash back to reality.

The challenge for the coaching staff is finding ways to stay in games when the offense clearly is out of sync.

you have to be joking...first of all this isnt a moral victory but no one should be disappointed with a loss today

Fellow poster called it moral victory, not me. I hate the phrase.

Major improvement, awesome coaching, great effort . . . Just not moral victory.

We don't have the overall talent yet. What did you expect?

Williams the only guy with a decent stat line but only played 17 minutes.

And Freeman allows an And 1. Unfreakingbelievable.
