He got dinged in the first quarter. He played the rest of the game just fine. He will be ready to play Saturday. There is no guessing if he will play.

Wow, a PSU fan arguing with someone that may be a PSU fan on a Rutgers board. This is fun. Let me post in a large font so that you don't miss the main point. If Trace was just fine this wouldn't have happened.
If you recall he didn't keep the ball on a running play once after being hurt unless you call scrambling on a couple of pass plays running. This allowed the IU defense to key on Barkley with no fear of McSorley.
Psu 42 RU 14 but Rutgers keeps it close in the first half. State's OL is banged up but their defense will carry them and eventually the Lions depth will wear down the Knights. Look for State to get one TD on special teams or a pic 6. Barkley with 88 yards on 24 carries. McSorley goes 14 for 26 with two TD passes, and runs for another one.
On a side note, although I'm a Penn State fan and alumni, I wish RU all the best in building up their program and hope we have some great competitive games in the future. I'll root for you guys against the evil empires of OSU and Michigan. Good luck.

I know why the Penn Staters are talking about s close game: You always talk up your opponent as to how good they are, no matter how bad they are. It is what coaches do on game day. They know in their hearts that this will be a cakewalk.
We lose big I just don't see any options other than this right now. Not sure we have what it takes to overcome the poor performance we had last week, it's hard to get up after that. Before that I felt like we were headed in the right direction but I can't see the kids feeling good about the way they played. Now with that said if they come out and make it a game that means the staff got them back up and ready. I just wish we could find a way to beat that team on Saturday but I am not feeling to good about it. So I am saying 42-3 them and a big hit to our future plans.

I never post in these threads, but I will today. If we can start out without imploding and gain some confidence and somehow win the turnover battle (maybe with some freaky wind-aided plays), we win 27-24. Their QB is iffy and their OL is in a shambles and they simply can't be taking us that seriously, with our record. This is our Super Bowl game and we play like our hair is on fire. Shhhhh, don't wake me.
I predict PSU fans will complain loudly about being treated rudely (even though they won't be) and will have least 3 threads about it on BWI.

I could not have been more wrong with my prediction of a close game. I had written it hoping for a sportsmanlike and competitive game....but after seeing the baseball thrown at Barkley during the game and the vile comments on this board....the gloves are off. You deserve many more seasons of this. Go back to your safe zone and coloring books.
