Watching the offense ... It feels like watching that worst Group 1 team in the state.

This team always seems unprepared and incompetent...like pulling teeth just to get a first down even. Scoring touchdowns is something we no longer do and getting shut-out is the norm. Sorry to say but Ash is so far looking in over his head along with Drew. When was our last win September? Jeez.

As sad as it is to say, I think we would've been better with Flood coaching this season.
At least last year, even though the team was awful, there was hope because we knew a coaching change was inevitable. This year, the team is even worse and we must deal with the fact that we are stuck with a new coaching staff that is far worse than last years.

If you don't get them on campus, they ain't signing in February. The sales pitch is obviously we need ballers and you can start right away. It will either work or it won't, but not hosting them is not the answer.
But we didn't have to host them tonight, or during the Michigan game is my point. What kid or coach is going to see this and get excited to play for this team or coaching staff?

If Ash is using losing us I can imagine how our commits feel...(I hope they stick, we need them!) As someone posted earlier this staff seems content with not winning or being competitive. I would feel much better losing if we were competitive but all we see is incompetent coaching and questionable decision making...Sad to say you know the game is pretty much over when we're down by two scores even if it's the 1st quater. Even under Flood we had our share of comebacks but not with this staff.

Mehringer has been a disappointment but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt because he's installing a new system and because we can't have an endless carousel of offensive coordinators.

I still disagree. Prime time, under the lights playing top ranked teams...you need to take every opportunity to get these recruits on campus. I don't think they're as affected by lopsided scores as the fans are and you try to convince them they're the answer (which they can be if enough of them come).
