This offense will work with a QB who can run. With the kid from St. Pete in the fold next year, along with a hopefully beefier Oden and Rescigno, we will have enough horses to really run this offense.

Cioffi should be playing at Monmouth. He has no business being on a Big 10 field.
Cioffi goes all out and that needs to be noted, but he might be over-matched in this defense without getting the help he needs and other D players doing the job they are assigned giving him a little leeway . But no matter what he must do his or take the blame.
Even if the defensive schemes aren't the right fit for those on the field playing the type of D RU is doing, each player including Cioffi must do their assignment without being excused because another didn't do theirs.

Then you have the coaching staff, games like this none should go scott free when complaints are being handed out.

Formerlyknownas says it's coaching...it's all on the coaching. Even though...Carroo left for the NFL - we lost the entire starting LB corps. We lost our only playmaker on offsense for the entire season. Our offense which was moving the ball with a true dual threat can no longer run read option because our QB has a bad hamstring.

My only gripe is that we need to see Oden at this point - hope they put him in
not only the coaching but the coaching sucks

F-ing Dacoven Bailey. The D manages to get MSU off the field for once and he nails the punter. Damn Flood for recruiting him.

Nice special teams there! Announcers coaching better than coaches.
A player running directly into a punter come on. How much coaching is involved in that one. Don't hit the punter go for the ball, OK coach got it. Our guy hits the punter square in the chest.

He likely isn't an athlete. He probably doesn't know what he is seeing. Coaching is the easy place for people to go when they can't see what atheletes look like and don't look like and how cometeteIy overmatched we are. I don't blame them. They just don't know what they are looking at.

There's no way Harris is the fastest on this team.

I don't get it, because you'd figure being able to steal bases in baseball means you have great acceleration. Dude just seems like he takes a while to get to top speed.

Your right these coaches are responsible for recruiting all the "talent" that couldn't start for not one other team in the B1G. Outside of Hamilton, Pinnix-Odrick on D and maybe Robert Martin, Cole and maybe Dorian Miller on O, we don't have one kid on the field that would start for another B1G school.

LOL...It's a waste of time responding to your posts.

Hmmmmm....so our 1st Team D just stopped their 2nd Team O on back-to-back 3-and-outs (aside from the roughing penalty).....now...if it was about coaching, this would not be possible, correct? The he talent differential wouldn't matter, right?

It's about talent my friends. At least the vast majority of it is. I'd say 80/20 right now.

Baseball speed and football speed are way different. And this is the epitome of our team. Our best playmaker is a part time football player. And it's not Deion Sanders. Says it all.

You go where the ball is to go not to the punters body. We are constantly making mental not talent mistakes. Patton illegal procedure. Muellar not in right spot. Out Patterns across the field. Failure to cover tight end in end zone twice. On and on and on... No Fight, quit, no passion...

Hate the RU commercial with date rape issue That's the best way to show our University?

Well at least we can agree on something. Every other school promotes there school ours simply drops the ball. Whoever green lighted this infomercial is a complete and utter imbecile. Truly awful.

So its never the player's fault when he clearly makes a mental mistake that even high school players don't make? When it's an obvious mental lapse - that is on the player. 5th year seniors should know better.

We haven't gotten a penalty for 2 offensive players with the same number. Maybe this week in practice before PSU.

You know you are a very bad team when the opposing team voluntary plays the third string QB against you.

Their RB back to their back ups back is running over our starting LB.

That was Maddox-Williams that got dragged that time. At least he has an excuse - he hasn't had the benefit of going through at least one full year of D1 S&C...
