Yes they need to get rid of the Student Section and open it all up because it doesn't work.
I guess we didn't need to close the lower bowl for $100mm?
On TV, the student section is the only thing that looks good...the rest looks embarassing
What an awful post. I guess you noticed the fact that there are 10,000 Michigan fans in the regular seats and not the student section instead you're ripping on the students when is practically full? Horrible post chip.

Sorry Nuts I'm watching the game and the corners are almost empty and the student section is 50% empty.
Corners empty and how can you blame anyone who didn't show based on what we just witnessed in the first half. Ticket sales are about to plummet bc this team can't do anything right
This thread happens every week. I don't get it.
If anything there should be a thread calling out the north end zone and upper decks every week.

At kickoff our stadium looked embarrassing. It wasn't until almost the end of the first quarter did the student section really fill in. I just don't get why we can't get to our seats at least around kickoff. The second quarter the entire stadium was packed .
Yes, during the 1st quarter it was pretty full. At half time it was half empty. It's totally empty right now. I was walking with a group of kids (15-20) and let's just say they are were pissed off on multiple levels.

Whats embarrassing is this UNIVERSITY CANT FIGURE OUT a way to BUS STUDENTS in a TIMELY MANNER from COLLEGE AVE to Busch! My daughter waited over an hour to get on a bus. She started at around 6 PM. It was 7:15 and she gave up. THAT is a real issue, and this school needs to figure it out!
I sit in 129... the students were the quietest they have been all season... and they are obsessed with saying "f@k penn state" during 3rd downs rather then yelling and making noise. Get rid of the dumb air guitar...rough night.. a lot of venting needed...
Not-for-nothing but there are thousands and thousands of students attempting to get on the bus at 6:00 on College Ave. There's also traffic coming in from regular fans. Not much they can really do it's up to the kids to head over there earlier but, on a rainy day, that's not going to happen. **** at least we offer that to the student. College Ave is easy walking distance and what a lot of students, at a lot of schools, do without the help of buses.

I sit in 131 right next to it and the student section looked fine by the end of the first quarter. The problem is that they sell out but the kids still jam into the middle seats. What they need to do is overbook it or make the seats smaller.
My son lives on River Road near 27 and said it took 30 minutes to get the stadium.
There were dozens of busses making the trek from College Av to Johnson Park on a continuous basis. My guess is there's more to the story that the little snowflake didn't provide Dad when she skipped out on the game in the pouring rain.
