Snapchat previews the helmets for tomorrow night. They're mat black with a silver knight on the side. No "R'. I'm a big fan of the block R but these look really nice!

Those Helmets look really nice. and I like the alt Knight Logo. Evey Team in the Country has a 3rd Jersey now and this is ours so just Stop with the BS about Being Traditional.
I love the new Wrestling Singlets with the Alternative Knight Logo.

RU announced last spring a complete REBRANDING for all athletics. Just want to ignore all of it right and keep an old mentality?

I obviously used the term everybody loosly., but Penn State is one of the few exceptions to the rule ( there may be one or 2 more, but outside of that not many.
That is what happens when you have the same coach for 50 years though. There is nobody to come in to make changes every decade or so and it becomes the norm.

I been arguing Penn State need a alternate because recruits love them and most fans do. I think it good to have a traditional uniform that is your brand yet still mix it up occasionally. . Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame and Alabama come to mind of schools who have done this. Sure there have been minor tweaks here or there but you can instantly recognize them.
Who cares abut the helmet. I just hope they put "f.a.m.i.l.y" on the back of the jersey.

Every time I see this logo, I want to rotate it 30 degrees clockwise. Looks good otherwise.
I get what you are saying, however there is a reason. It is supposed to look like he is tucking his chin and riding into battle.
