Without a good QB... We have no chance to score.

Martin a very good but they will no longer let him run wild when they know we can't complete a pass.

Defense is playing be lot better. The improvement is clear against the best offense in the nation. But there is only so much you can do.
They're on the field donstantly.

Lol they tried a fake return there, but the punt was so bad it went out of bounds....

Put Gio in, I don't care if he goes 0-50, With Laviano there is no hope.

Odin not allowed to pass
Gio not allowed to pass
Chris can't complete a pass

Just forfeit the game if you're going to give up. For all the **** Nova got, his worst was 10000000000 times better than Chris will ever be. At least he can't get picked off 6 times, because his passes can't travel that far

Harris was wide open to run for a first down. Laviano's pass is nowhere near him with no pressure. I suppose some posters will blame the OL for that one too.

They need to get fing Laviano out of there and give us someone that has an opportunity to move the ball. Our lack of any kind of offenservice has cost us 21 pts

Again blame everybody but CL. He is PART of the problem. A big part.
Where did I say the QB play is good? I didn't. I'm saying that the QB is one of eleven players, all of whom are playing poorly. So why fixate on the QB play alone? Totally lacking in logic.

You heard the announcers just now. Laviano had a bit of time but had nowhere to go with the ball.

We can put in another QB to get him experience, that's fine. But it never mattered which of our QBs we played in this game. We were always gonna get spanked.

Oh, and I'm not blaming anybody. We have a huge player talent gap. It is what it is.

He did make some nice throws on the first drive, but that's about it. Strangely enough, he's had some nice runs today.
If you watched our 2nd and 3rd games of the season you would have noticed that sub-par FCS QBs make great throws on their first series against us also. They are all scripted, practiced to death, before D has chance to adjust.

But Laviano sucked when Howard put pressure on him. At least cut our losses and give someone else experience now.

Get him out.

Sorry Laviano, but you should never take another snap at QB in your life.

How dare you! Just because his numbers are historically awful this season, gives you no reason to want to see someone else. After all since they are much more talented than us, we should expect only putrid play for our qb [eyeroll]

I already said I'm totally fine putting in another QB for the experience. I would if I were the coach.

Thats Not the same thing as blaming just the QB for getting crushed out there when the entire team is getting beat everywhere on the field.

we need better returns on the KOs. OSU kicks to 2 yard line and we get 10 yards. We need better field position to start a drive.

I guess at this point we don't have to he overly cautious against turn overs...

I would agree with your post, however, I see guys who are open on pass plays and Laviano either doesn't see them or his throw is way late or way off the mark.

Today he is simply inept. Ash and Co. have to realize at this point the offense gains nothing by leaving him in there.

Time to move on from the Laviano era.

The talent gap is just massive. QB is the most important position and Laviano is what he is. Not a D1 QB.

The D was actually playing ok. But if you can't move the ball they will break pretty quickly, as they did.

All about talent.

Okay so he never got the pass off, but that would have been a pass attempt!

Another horrible throw by CL from off the back foot - Harris was open and it might've been a first down. Please for the love of freakin' god, put someone else in!

Laverne clearly can't do it, he's been given many, many, chances by 2 different coaching staffs. I amend my first post and say, anybody but CL, he just can't do it. Regardless of the talent of our opposition.

Yes, couldn,t out play Howard, for Christ sake.

Oregon Duck fan here. Don't know why but I've always had a soft spot for your program. I hate to see you guys lose like this and I miss what Greg Schiano brought to your program in the late 00s. Hopefully you can get the right coach that can get his guys in there and put the B1G money to work. Your administration will get better too.
