Wait, being up 3-0 is unacceptable to Ash, but being down 0-7 is good enough to just take a knee?
Probably but you have to call plays assuming they will be executed correctly. I'm not saying the play calling was great on that series but that last one should have been a TD if executed correctly, even with CL.
Harris was in the right trail position. Laviano should have pitched it, but the truth is Laviano should have never been put in a bad situation.
Blaming this on drew and ash??? It was a gutsy call and I liked it. Lavinaio should have pitched it but he didn't.

The first half miscues are all on the coaches, if you ask me. Odin should not have been in on that 2nd goal line series. Martin':me had success, up to that point. I give Laviano a pass, his throwing has been bad but he's made some good decision with his feet.

If you told me down 7-0 at half, considering our 1st quarter woes, I would have signed up for it.
It's just that, of every way and at any time they could have scored their 7 points, this was the absolute worst (99 yard drive, right before half, take all the momentum).

Yes you can complain. Our defense was playing great and grant got us down to the 3 yard line then our coaching failed us hugely!!!!!!!! Took wind right out of the sails of our team and gave instant momentum to Iowa. Should be winning this game not happy being down by seven.

Laviano with an absolutely awful game. Today he can't make any throws, he can't run, he can't make the correct decision on what should've been an easy pitch for a TD. Sorry I know he's a college kid, but this guy absolutely sucks.

I prefer to think he is developing him slowly, building confidence
What was worse, The ball he sailed over Harris in the first red zone visit or the lack of a pitch?
Harris because he had time, and just didn't step into the throw.
On paper it wasn't a highly difficult throw for a marginal QB to make.
Ugh. Being down 7-0 as opposed to 7-3 just stings. Would have been nice to get points on that red zone possession considering they are at a premium in this one
