OMG Laviano. Pull that ball and run. The DE crashed hard and the entire right side was open.
Against Howard8-19 for 88 yards in a half. Needs to sit.
that would be on coaching, so probably trueMaybe we are just looking past Howard to our big showdown with New Mexico next week?
I agree with everything you said. However, Mehringer could do a better job of tailoring the offense to suit the players he currently has.Exactly right. It is a talent issue. More specifically even, a talent issue for the scheme we use. A spread offense for guys recruited to a pro set is like changing a half court focused basketball team to a full court pressing game.
You can argue Ash should throw away everything he believes and stayed with the pro set, but that is short term thinking that no coach in his position would do.
Recruit. And get Oden in as fast as possible.
Or maybe Howard was never expected to be in this game and are playing with house money? I'm guessing you've never played sports. As I said in another post: then how do you explain Howard's dominating performance so far? They recruit better? Highly doubtful
Laviano actually stood in and got leveled. I expected him to turtle.
did you really just say that?on paper is the key to your premise, but on the field is all that matters
It's professional courtesy, he is a former RU QB and feels his painWhy does Ray love Laviano so much ?
you are one funny dude!did you really just say that?
hahahahah, sorry my friend, you have zero credibility now. Talk about myopic!!!

no we don't have a talent issue, not to the level of what we are seeing here. Coaching sucks here and if the coaches can't figure out to get the most of the players they have, we will continue to struggleif you truly believe we dont have a talent issue i dont know what to tell you.

no, we've seen these schemes work without the required qb before, coach needs to adjust the playbook and calls to the talent on the field.I am not sure. The QB is the most important position on the field. In a scheme we use, it is even more so. The QB is your primary playmaker, running and passing. We don't have the most important piece which you need to run his scheme. As such, it would require essentially a new scheme. And that isn't happening.

35-14 was my prediction, we still have a shotno we don't have a talent issue, not to the level of what we are seeing here. Coaching sucks here and if the coaches can't figure out to get the most of the players they have, we will continue to struggle
you guys make me laugh, as if any of you actually have a clue. We are struggling with Howard people, should we start tacking down the ovbvious issues on basic things like tackling and blocking up front????
God we have a clueless fanbase
Fair point. I just meant that maybe some Pro Style concepts could be incorporated into the playbook. Maybe it's not possible, I'm no coach.I am not sure. yes, they always were the most talented with GrantI do love our backs however
