The crazy thing is Michigan will also get DPJ (the top WR in the country) so they might have a crazy tandem right there.

It's ok though, I think Bo Melton is better than both!

Also to answer your question. This year. Currently, NJ's best player is Drew Singleton, who is a 4 star.

Ohio State isn't taking many 4 stars from Ohio. Ohio State just like Alabama are taking the best recruits around the country.

Thanks, I don't track the star ratings that closely. Does NJ usually post a 5 star? Not surprised that Alabama isn't with half the population of NJ.

If you can't sell Alabama then you just can't sell.

Most years New Jersey will have one 5 star. Occasionally there will be two and sometimes none. All told there are usually only about two or three dozen RIvals 5 stars in the whole country in a given year.

Brad Hawkins from Camden is a 4* receiver who has decided not to attend Michigan this year and do a year at prep school in Conn. His HS coach says he will be open to all schools.
Just sharing what I have heard.

Michigan must have offered the kid more money than Bama.
Yes, probably nothing to do with the far superior academics compared to Bama which he has said is a big factor or the fact that he does have family in Michigan and the fact that his dad is a UM fan.. Then on the football side of things I'm sure it has nothing to do with playing in front of the largest crowd in the world every Saturday and being coached by a coach that got an Iowa QB reject drafted after one season or the fact that Dylan McCaffrey is his QB for some scout thing and they are becoming good friends.. It's all the money.

Who is also coming to Michigan! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Or Michigan could have bought the kid's parents a house too.

You're talking about a programs who's only major NCAA violation in regards to football the last 99 years was too many practices under the walking dick weed Rich Rodriguez (Which he mentioned somewhat recently was BS http://www.usatoday.com/story/sport...-michigan-wolverines-ncaa-violations/2962953/) . And a coach who has never been in trouble regarding violations before.

So please, just because someone is successful at something doesn't mean something shady is going on. Harbaugh might push buttons and take things to the limit but he doesn't and hasn't broken any rules. The day he does and it comes out I will eat my hat.

Because as it stands right now all you can go off is both Michigan footballs past and Jim Harbaugh's coaching past. Neither of those things provide any evidence of potential wrong doing in this point in time. Your head coach is the only guy with ties to a program that has been found guilty of significant wrong doing and a coach from the $EC. So next time Rutgers pulls a recruit from Penn State I'm sure they must be paying him more, too.

lol JJ just keep poking Hail will get it soon enough.
Just for some background the NCAA Violation was called Stretchgate as Rich Rod did not count 15 min of stretching as part of football activities. This was approved by the Michigan compliance office. Turns out they were wrong. NCAA slapped em.

I would be fine with that. He did get through the NCAA clearing house. As I understand it he and his family choose the Prep school route for a year. As stated in my post his HS coach advised he was now open to All. What exactly did I get wrong? He very well may end up at Mich. but his recruitment is open again.
Please share with me where you got the information that he plans to attend Mich as a 2018 recruit and that there will be a 2018 offer from Mich?

just the part where you said he "choose" not to go. if he was able to enroll why would he go to prep school?

I was quoting the article. He was good with the NCAA clearinghouse so could have enrolled in any number of schools. Article said after discussing with family they Chose to do a year at Prep school. Not my opinion but in a published article. I will say I know of no recruit attending prep school that then attends Michigan. Would love to have him.
It is possible he didn't qualify to attend Michigan but I have seen nothing official that tells me that and I choose not to speculate.

i believe he signed a national letter of intent to michigan, so he couldnt just go anywhere. my point was the only reason a kid would do that, having signed a letter of intent, would be he didnt want to go elsewhere but for what ever reason had to improve something in his transcripts.
