Snorweah not at practice?

We need to start recruiting rb's big time. Snowreah gone now or moved to D and Peoples and Goodwin are gone after this year, with the outside possibility of a stud junior leaving early. I like Snead but better start getting more in the pipeline.

Who is leaving early?

Care to elaborate or just saying a jackass comment

I was told by a guy who knows more about Pennsy high school football than all of you put together that Snorweah was gone. I didn't say take it to the bank. I didn't say I'd bet on it. But this guy is usually on the money. I sure hope he's wrong though.

this would be a big loss whether injured or transferring, I remember some on here proclaiming him to be a much better recruit when he committed after Saquon Barkley decommitted...this is the kind of athlete that might have flourished in the spread or at least made contributions in the depleted secondary

NOBODY claimed that he was better than Barkley, some said that he had better straight line speed (and no, we don't believe Barkley's 4.38 time in Crappy Valley).

Reppin_Jerz showing why he is really Reppin PEDOPHILIA.

Snorweah absolutely was faster, and his track times confirmed that. His best times were faster than Barkley's best times, and he placed higher than Barkley in states.

But football speed is different than track speed, and whether Barkley was faster in pads is definitely up for debate.

Peoples is very likely done with football, it's been pretty widely reported. Concussions...

Pretty sure it was reported that Barkley ran a 4.38 this spring. That's a damn nice 40 time for a RB.

He also squatted nearly 400 lbs, but the point remains, Snorweah was viewed by many here as a big time recruit and it is a big hit to the program to lose an athlete with that much potential

But where has it been said, other than this thread, that we've lost him?

It hasn't, of course...people just like to speculate...

And no offense, but everyone on this board would take Barkley over Snorweah or almost any other back in the country - he's just that good.

Would you take Barkley over Hicks and Martin?

Unofficial, and hand timed, not laser.

No way a kid that runs a no better than 4.50 (which is still Caroo speed) in high school improves to a 4.38 one year later.

Just shows how little faith to put in that 4.38.

tOSU's Elliott ran a 4.47 at the NFL Combine ... having watched them both play a lot last year, there is just no way that Barkley is faster than Elliott.

Alamo Al - I agree with that premise, but make an exception for lying trolls.

VK, no inside info, but both Martin and Hicks will have completed three years after 2016 and if either has a big year they could be tempted to leave early. Maybe more likely with Martin as he previously had a bad knee injury and if there is NFL interest he could jump.

Re-read my post. I said I'd clearly take Barkley over Hicks and Martin. That says nothing about how good I think Hicks and Martin are.
Not trying to give you a hard time but first you said nearly every poster here would take Barkley over most any other back in the country, you then said you'd take both hicks and Martin over Barkley everyday of the week...so what that means is your are implying you'd take hicks and Martin over almost every other back in the country...if you would take them doesn't that mean you think they are better?

If Barkley has a year like last year he's one kid that should go to the NFL early. I rarely say that and think a lot of times it's a mistake but this kid is that good. He has 1st rounder written all over him and will have a lot of miles left in the tank. Plus the Giants could use a RB.[winking]

My observation based on the above statements by RU#####:
Hicks/Martin > Barkley > Snorweah/almost any other back in the country

I'm not trolling, I'm simply clarifying statements of opinion....calling it how I read it...

Theres not enough facepalms in the world.

You asked him if he would take barkley over martin and hicks and he said yes he would take barkley over martin and hicks everyday of the week and twice on sunday even though he likes martin and hicks a lot.

If you still can't get that then you really are slow and i apologize for insulting you.
