Yes it has been an up and down season, but I am really encouraged by what I see from this team.
Yes we lost some we should have won and won some we should have lost. So be it.
But I am so encouraged when I see the talent coming off the bench and knowing this talent will only grow and get stronger as we move into the BIG Tourney. We have 5 capable subs in every position. Thus giving Coach greater leverage and freedom in her rotations. Yes we will lose some, talent-wise, when when the big 4 are not on the floor, but the subs have proven they can maintain.
With all this taken into consideration, all I can say is Look out come tourney time, we WILL make some noise.

Anyone notice the leadership role Tyler has assumed on the floor. (Love It_

Great post and I agree. While the youngsters have been a bit inconsistent, they've all shown flashes of what they can do. It's nice to see the younger Jeune sister contributing lately. If everyone plays to their potential, we can beat anyone in the B1G. And more....

Unfortunately CVS is like her mentor Chaney, mediocrity at the end of her career. Time to retire gracefully. Does anyone know why our 3 assistants left last year? The real reason not the PC reason.

I have no idea, but can make several suggestions -
- Julie (then the AD) told them that they were not candidates to remain after Viv, or she tried to cut their pay, or she basically gave them bad reviews or whatever. In any case, they saw the writing on the wall and left.
- Vivian told them she was only going to be at RU for "x" number of years and they should look for a new situation. They found situations they liked.
- Julie wanted to bring in her own person (one of the assistants had ties) and they resented it and quit.

I suspect the truth is somewhere in all that. But who knows? I don't suspect any "scandal" that hasn't come to light, if that's where you are hinting. Don't see why anyone would.
