The two biggest reasons for the mute button on your remote. Last night I had to mute the Indiana - Iowa game and now tonight the Arizona - UCLA game. Thankfully it's not like the old days and you have the time and score right in front of you and don't depend on the play by play guy for that info.

I actually enjoy listening to Bill Walton.
Not sure why anyone would put him in the same class with dopey Bird Vitale.

I just don't like the way Walton often babbles on about something that has nothing to do with the game and many times doesn't make any sense

Love Walton.

Duke err I mean Dick Vitale has become a clown show. I watched a replay of the 1983 ACC Tournament semi-final between Virginia and NC State the other day and Vitale was great back then. I truly had forgotten how good of an analyst he used to be.

Dickie V is a huge Duke homer no doubt.

I will point out he didn't send his kids there. :)

His Duke love has nothing to do with the school. His head is so far up Coach K's button that he knows what K had for breakfast...yesterday

Russ, I was watching game earlier this year, Vitale was doing the game and Duke was playing, and Vitale made the absurd comment that Coach K is the greatest coach in the history of any sport, pro or college. I guess he never heard of John Wooden or Bear Bryant or Red Auerbach or about a dozen others

Yeah, but Wooden or Bryant or Auerbach aren't gonna give Bird Vitale access anytime soon.
Or buy him dinner.
Vitale's schtick was stale the last time I heard it....and THAT was many years ago.
I kept wishing one of those kids he called "diaper dandies" would smack his glasses off of his head. The guy is an ***. And his schtick is SO stupid.
He should have retired to Florida full-time, where he could regale the seniors there with his stories of how he mentored Les Cason
