While the margin was greater than I thought I am not the least be surprised. Its almost getting too easy to pound EJ after these debacles. The guys we have left to throw out there would not have a winning record against FCS level competition. I think they are totally demoralized and you can see evidence that they are just going through the motions at this point. What I don't get was the basis for some thinking we would win this game in the prediction thread. I was going to post but then decided why bother.

because Nebraska is a bad team likely to get 4-6 Big 10 wins and finish under 500 overall. They lost to Samford at home and lost to Creighton by a similar margin as RU

They are travelling across country to NJ, teams usually aren't given a comfort zone right from the get go like they were. RU played much better teams such as Indiana and Monmouth tougher throughout. It was not unrealistic to think this game should have competitive with a possibility that RU could win. This game should have been at minimum competitive with RU maybe losing by 10-15...worse case. Nebraska brought their A game and RU brought their F game.

I freely admit making a mistake in picking Rutgers to win this game.I learned my lesson and all the remaining games will be in the lost column .The demoralization was seen on the court and by some fans who started leaving early in the second half.

I thought this team would get 2 but losing to the third worst team in the league by 34 changed that. This team will go 0-18. Minnesota got waxed by Northwestern today at home by 25 so they are pretty bad too but Ill give them the edge
