Remember when ND coach Brian Kelly left his HC job at Cinn a few weeks before their first big bowl game, the Orange Bowl, to take the Notre Dame job? Took Bob Diaco with him too.

I'd say not much. Just like the game last night they talked a little about Kirby Smart going to Georgia late in the game when it was a blowout(they needed something to talk about at that point). And even that conversation was more about how Saban moves on. I would expect the same maybe a mention late in the game but that's about it.

That a fairly large number of people have posted that we would somehow get a big benefit from mentions of Ash going to RU during the telecast is one of the silliest things that has ever happened on this board. Pretty weird actually.

You must have missed ash's introductory press conference . Hobbs said it helps having ash announced on national television during the fiesta bowl that he's going to Rutgers . I don't think Hobbs would lie.

He could just be over estimating its value and be wrong..... It is not lying..... I don't think it would make a difference in landing a recruit or helping perception much once the game is over.

Agree. OSU and Bama are the 2 best teams in the country by far.
