I'm not pro or anti Eddie right now, but the timing of the Rice scandal in 2013 really could not have been worse. It set us up for a huge failure down the road. Everyone remembers, the Jack, Mack, Carter, etc recruiting class was in 2011. In 2012, we had zero scholarships to give out. 2013 was an important recruiting year for us. And what happened, we lost Carter, Randall, and had 1 high school recruit in Etou. In two years, we got 1 D1 recruit eligible for four years, and he transferred out after his sophomore season. That's no excuse for losing the way we did, but it explains our lack of depth. I'm really not surprised that we continue to go backwards in Eddie's third year.

It isn't losing, it is how we lose. It's obvious this team has little talent AND is very poorly coached. You don't need to be Nostradamus to see that this will never get better with Eddie at the helm. He simply can't coach at this level.
sure sounds like a pro Eddie post to me. Listen yes no one expected miracles but this has reached rock bottom. How are schools like Wagner and NJIT recruiting serviceable players...the coaching has been horrendous and there are no recruits for next year and losing Etou was HUGE..THATS ON EDDIE
Etou was average at best. He wasnt going to make much of a difference anyway. But it is on Eddie.
Abro, Stringer needs to go soon also. Seton Hall is now better in women's bb.
