This, the number of times people are fooled by him is mind boggling. He will pounce with the slightest scent of blood in the water.Politi is a hack. He'll write one "positive" story and then spend the rest of the year shitting on everything we do. He's a spin doctor of the worst kind.
He he should ...... we do.This, the number of times people are fooled by him is mind boggling. He will pounce with the slightest scent of blood in the water.
Hopefully with the new hires, articles like this will be the new standard.....
yes, unfortunately I do. There is something wrong with.He he should ...... we do.
Do you Read these boards?
Well, the Star Ledger...
- Got rid of Mulcahy
- Helped ESPN get rid of Pernetti
- Did all they could to get rid of Herman from day one.
Hopefully they finally found a Rutgers Athletic Director they can live with for a while.
i havent opened the article yet but there is no such thing as a good steve politi article. death, taxes, awful articles by Steve Politi.
Hopefully with the new hires, articles like this will be the new standard.....
I swear we have the most obtuse fans or gullible take your pick. Stevie Phallus is a hack and will always be a hack. He will over dramatize stuff, call for people's firing etc to pump his ego with the thought "I am the puppet master of RU athletics". Additionally he knows the more drama the more eyeballs.
People on this board fall for it everytime. The poster above just made a great comment:
Mulcahy
Pernetti
Rice
Herman
Flood
And it didn't matter who the AD was in the previous search, Phallus head had an article a week before RU announced the new AD he already had info on Herman and the guy from Wisky.
The guy from Wisky's issue was some sort of underage drinking by players at a bowl game and reckless spending, lol.
So regardless of which way we went he was going to call RU out.
It has really nothing to do with RU but evrything to do with RU. Meaning the articles are written to maximize readership, the trigger point is RU because we make it easy.

The Star-Ledger did NONE of those things. Not one of them. Rutgers did.
In the third case, someone who really shouldn't have been hired. In the second case, someone who was thrown under the bus by Barchi but who also hired the coach who caused the problem in the first place despite the fact there were enough red flags even Fordham declined to hire him. In the first case, someone who was not found to have done anything wrong, just without answering to anyone.
If Rutgers learns something from Ledger reporting and makes a decision, I have no problem with that. If Rutgers is just afraid of the Ledger being mean to it, the problem is with Rutgers, not the Ledger.
The Ledger cannot fire anybody at Rutgers. If it can, it has a lot more power than anyone on this board likes to admit.
But if you're into conspiracy theories, Hobbs coming from Seton Hall should insulate him, right?
