This team looks bad. Bad shot selection, bad fundamentals, bad defense, just bad. This team is going to get whacked in the B1G just like last year. What is Jordan recruiting?

RU now 1-10 FG, a turnover. WAY too much 1 on 1 play in the 2nd half.

Creighton 5-5 FG, including 3 3's.

I wish we cared about defense, stopped the ball on coast to coast layups, and played with heart. Watch how crisp the other team looks on offensive sets. We do nothing, no picks, slow movement. Poor coaching

Agree. Year three and same basic garbage product on the court. Rutgers continues to field low basketball IQ teams and that falls on deficient coaching.

Daniels sparking RU on offense, with 9 points this half ... but on the last sequence, was out of control, and with RU down 6, after he gets the ball back he takes a wild shot against a much bigger defender, which misses badly and leads to a wide opne 3 on the break for Creighton ... Creighton up 9 now.

Horrible coaching, marginal talent, no attention to detail at all. You can see how careless the kids are with the ball. You simply don't see well coached teams play this way.

Exactly Cali. Rutgers just does not care about sports and we will suck for years to come.

No only are we fundamentally UNSOUND on defense, we don't even do the basic things like rotate down or block out. Totally undisciplined. Our offense, which seemed to be running through Corey nicely in the first half has turned into wild playground ball. This is the same garbage we saw last year and the year before that.

Defense is nothing more than effort and communication. You can see these kids aren't being taught very basic concepts like man ball, stopping the ball on fast breaks, and overall team d.

This team is going to be hard to watch. Any very average talented team with a coach who has half a clue will be them. Just dumb basketball.

Unlike the St. Johns debacle, this was a see-saw game in the first half and then we come out in the second half and lose all composure. I dare not say why, but I will say that EJ and his staff have a lot of work ahead of them. I will stick to my preseason win total of 11 wins. Maybe less.
