OK , you're probably not the only one who expected a loss .
I thought RU could win and still feel 10 points isn't impossible to overcome and not saying anyone thinks RU can't make up 8 points against St Johns.
Now UConn would be another story [winking]

CVS has serious problem this year, they are getting blown out of their own building. The toughness is gone. SJU if they win will have won 7 in a row vs RU...I think its safe to say they have passed RU by and SHU will soon follow

whats telling is how this board has gone bo peep.

how many were announced at the game and how many were actually there. To me this looks a program heading downward in quality and interest

at 1-2 this is going to be a year where the NCAAs might be a reach

What strikes me is the lack of intensity. Laney and Davis brought that and I'm not sure who's bringing that fire this year. We have no identity right now and our defense -- usually something we could hang our hat on - is putrid. I mean SJU shot 50% tonight on our floor!

The crowd was a bit over 2000 announced and was probably about right. Have to agree with the team playing slow and tired with the exception of a few moments here and there in the second half. But whenever RU looked like they can close St. John's took it right to us. They played with more intensity and were able to slice right through the Rutgers D.....when they weren't hitting uncontested outside shots including the 3. Rutgers shot (I think) about 28% for the game....not going to win many with that kind of production.....still a severe lack of movement without the ball on offense and (still) lazy play from Rachel if she doesn't start out well....if she plays to her potential I can see her being the fire they need but unfortunately she's not there.
