Wouldn't that translate into an APR that would be below the NCAA minimum to stay off probation? I thought that UConn's men's bballl was just recently penalized (with the past 6 years or so) for having such a low academic standing. Anyone know the story here?

Yes. The basketball team had a post season ban due to a low APR. The season after the ban they won the national championship.

Keep in mind, the data from these GSR studies isn’t from the most recent graduating classes.

This report only includes student-athletes who entered a university between the fall of 2005 to spring of 2009.

With the one and done mentality at elite basketball schools its hard to believe any of them would have high graduation rates.
